- I am pretty happy with the way this turned out between the video itself and the pieces on the car. It definitely took a lot of time, but I would say it was well worth it in the end. Stoked to have another few projects crossed off the list and we'll keep moving forward with progress on the rear section of the car.

I'm no expert but HOLY BALLS your work is incredible!
Haha thank you, I certainly appreciate it
New channel names.... Perfection Fabrication Perfabrication ... Fabulous Fabs ...Fab Squared ... Driving for Perfection ... It feels like I am witnessing the early days of a car building legend Legendary Fabs!
SEMA Bound! The mind of an artist puts the quality of the work above all, knowing damn well that the dividends will vastly outstrip the personal time invested. I am cheering for you, and the beauty you are bringing to life! Thanks!
Thank you, thank you. I appreciate the support. SEMA one day is the goal, lots of work ahead but I think it could be possible
I’m not the biggest fan of changing original but like your videos. I follow you, junkerup, and dead dodge garage. Good company.
I appreciate you following along
Good morning from Cape Cod. I would say your talent and skill level is far superior than most restoration shops 🤘 Bad Chad floods an entire car with filler and sands it to perfection, you make the sheet metal perfect from the start. Amazing! Keep up the awesome work Cale 👍✌️🇺🇲
Thank you, I certainly appreciate it. I figured if I can get the metal as good as I can, the less body work I’ll have to do which means the less body filler is added haha
Bad Chad is not even in this league. This is more Ring Brothers quality.
Foose and Kindig not beating down your door yet ? How can they not be aware of your talent? You are amazing. Keep it up. You have a fantastic future ahead of you.
Haha thank you. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to work for a shop like those you mentioned
Why would Cale want to work for them? They steal his creativity and gets chump change in labor as a financial perk? Freak That! Can I get an Amen?
Getting it done!!! Absolutely killing it man! 👏
Saw you on Sally's Speed Shop channel. I've been watching all your videos since then. Finally caught up and current. Can't wait to see this Charger finished! Your level of talent as a teen is unmatched. Big future ahead for you!
Beautiful work
Thank you
I doubt that every car you build will be this detailed. I am guessing this is a special long term project to showcase your personal vision.
Time will tell, this is definitely an all in build. Something I am hoping to use to get my name out there and start a business out of. Ideally the goal is to improve upon every car, but it just depends on what type of build it is
Damn dude , your attention to detail is awesome !!!!
I'm here for the long haul Cale. I love fine attention to details. Keep doing what you do.
Much appreciated, thank you for following along
Wow your metal work really is on another level!
Much appreciated, thank you
absolutly killing it. this thing is gonna be slick when its done it will all add up too a flawless body everywhere you look
That is the hope haha, thank you
Amazing work! 👍
Thank you
This car it’s going to be incredible in the end truly a sema quality build
Thank you, that is the goal 🤞
Your attention to detail and striving for perfection inspires me
Looking good. love the modification to the tail lights. its going to look tough
Thank you, that is the hope
Takes a real man to put this much work in to a car. Huge props to you !!
Thank you, sometimes I question the things I do but looking back it’s worth it haha
Love your attention to detail and the drive to get it done right.
Awesome job son! Keep up the great work!
Much appreciated, thank you!
Mad fab skills
Love all the hard work
Keep it up. Can’t wait for next episode
Thank you, I appreciate you following along
So awesome!
Keep working on your craft, at your age you are really light year above your piers
I did the same thing on the gutters on my 67 GTO and I'm glad that I took the time to do it. I also debated with filling the gap between the quarter and filler panel but I ended up deciding to leave it as is and use seam sealer the way the factory did.
I don’t believe chargers had seam sealer on that one gap, it was just exposed. Generally one of the first areas to rust out because it would just trap water obviously. I still haven’t made up my mind on what I’m going to do haha
@@camracing If you don't put seam sealer in that gap, are you going to end up with water in the trunk?
@@davidpowell5137 no, the panels have a flange underneath where they weld together. It would just be the seam on top, so a little gap, that would fill with water but should drain out the back following the gap between the deck-lid and quarters
That beast is coming along great. You are seriously one talented young man. Keep wrenching!
I have been watching from day one. You are amazing.
Great video Cam Racing, Yeee Yeee
Thank you
It’s coming out amazing!
Love your build man, I share them with everyone! Very talented man, you are really growing your skills with this one. On a side note, if you're interested in selling those quarter extension pieces, I would be interested in purchasing them for my build.
I appreciate you following along, and thanks for sharing with others! If I can figure out how to produce some pieces for these cars, I’d ultimately like to start doing that. We’ll see how it goes🤞
I was referring to the original charger pieces you're not using but making and selling your design would be awesome too.
I just had an idea, I don’t know if you like it: What if you use another taillight panel as the dashboard? I think that would look pretty cool.
Definitely a neat idea, I haven’t decided what I’m going to do for a dashboard yet so we’ll see😃
@@camracing Yeah, that just came to my mind while I you did the tailpanel.
Cool 😎 !
Awesome job!
Thank you
I’d trust this guy for Clock repair
You are off the chain quality.
Thank you, just trying to produce the best product I can
Those squares you filled in might have something to do with the trunk edge seal placement. Might wanna check that.
👍
Amazing metal work
Thank you
Minor details definitely will add up for a cleaner build👌
What would look cool, since you’re modifying the car, is to make the rear window like a Charger 500. It is such a clean look they used only on Charger 500 and Daytonas
Some others folks have mentioned that, and I have thought about it. I’ve always like the look of the sail panels on the back though, I know I’m in the minority when it comes say that, but I think they will be staying haha
Great decision
@@camracing as always, your car and your decision in the end. I feel same way about suggestions on my car. But I always listen and if it doesn’t fit right with me then I won’t do it. Great work so far
Stick with the stock flying buttress look. It's a better look, you're not building a nascar.
Killing it! Keep it up
Thanks Brad!
Yeee Yeee !!
🤙🤙
Looking good! Are you putting this on a frame, or are you going to build it into a unibody?
It will have a full tube chassis underneath
Hey buddy you should try working.on the bottom so that way it's solid underneath then make your way up to the top of u can get that bottom done as well. But your doing a good job bro I got alot of work to on my 71 mustang sedan dragster but it's a full declassey remake 3cars in 1 but I just don't videos that's all would be cool but idk what I'm doing for posting vids
Seriously kid, when i was your age i was drunk in a ditch after a party. Keep focused on this and don’t stop after doing this car, get another one.
Your parents should be proud mate.
Will you try laser welding?
I have not done it before, nor do I know a lot about it. I’d give it a shot to see what it’s about though
👑JUGS 🤣🤣
Your DNA test came back: you are definitely related to the Ring Brothers.😁
😂
Just realized, from another video, you're in Ohio. I'm in Southeast Ohio right outside of Marietta. What part are you in? I have friends that are Dodge fanatics and may be able to help you with parts from time to time and I build custom motorcycles and the occasional car or truck.
Nice work! What is the blue stuff you spray on the panel before scribing?
it's lay-out fluid, you use it to make the lines more visible and stand out against the bluepart
Bingo, plus it doesn’t disappear with heat like a sharpie line would👌
@@TheSoulaimane9 Thanks!
Hey cam. If you don’t mind me asking. How did you get amd as a sponsor?? I would love to work with them as well for my build. Thanks!
I reached out to them when I first got the project, it was a long shot but they have been nothing but supportive over the past year or so
The notches in the trunk were for crumpling in an accident
Greetings, my friend! You have a very interesting channel. Congrats for your great work! If you take a look to your video “Building a 1970 Dodge Charger from Scratch” you will see that it had more than 60k views. The following videos kept the mean of 6k views. So I would suggest that you change your videos titles from now on to “Building a 1970 Dodge Charger from Scratch” part 7, 8, 9 etc. I’m pretty sure that this will boost your view counts!
Yes that video did exceptionally well, I think it was definitely a combination of the title and thumbnail…also a little bit of luck. Not a bad idea of continuing that title over to other videos, thank you😃
A hundred years from now, at the one lane bridge your great grandchildren are going to be leaving gleaming alloy air cars stranded by the riverside.

Buenos Dias
@@camracing You need to say it like George from cletus videos. BUUUUUUUUEEEEEENNNNNNOOOOOOOOS DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAZZZZ
Looks great, but stop touching that raw metal with your bare hands and get some zinc primer on it ASAP...
I know I know, I cringed editing this and watching myself touch the metal lol
You should add a Daytona Wing on that
Amazing work!!
Thank you
