Also, Hello from the UK. I have a few American cars myself. I've commented on your videos before. You're doing a very good job working with limited tools, in a small space, in not the warmest conditions. You're doing great. Keep on with the good work. I can't wait to see how the Charger turns out. 👍
On my GTO, I used Eastwood's surface contour tool, took all the parts down to bare metal, and then used epoxy primer on the whole car. I wanted to completely seal the car before putting down the filler. I highly recommend their SCT.
Good morning from Cape Cod 🦈 Cal, you're doing some amazing work. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship is second to none, I look forward to each and every installment of this build. Keep up the great work and the excellent content 👍✌️🇺🇲
I really like that spoiler mock up, even with the cardboard template, it looked incredible from all angles. Makes it look mean and aggressive. I can definitely see a similar front lower diffuser to match.
You have a good eye for the metal working. Just one thing, try to incorporate a respirator into your routine when cutting that metal with the die grinder, all that metal dust and disc dust is going right in your lungs. Well the parts that don't end up on your face:) Not trying to be critical or a safety sally, but if this is going to be a career choice it is going to add up fast, especially in a small shop like that.
Impressive outcome so far given shop/space and tools. I've seen work from bigger shops with every break, english wheel, stretcher, nibbler, whatever that didn't look quite as factory as your panel joints in the rear do. Not 70s factory either. 2020 level factory at least on camera.
Do you put anything on the bare metal to stop it from flash rusting? The tail panel has been exposed for a few videos just curious if you put anything on it
Your guess is as good as mine honestly. Obviously along ways to go but no reason to rush work just to have to done. It al takes time…especially when you’re learning by yourself along the way
Epoxy primer it. Do not etch. Etching has gone to the past with epoxy that's out there now also some paints do not like etch primer at all. I'd avoid it completely.
Cal, i think OCD equals most awesome Charger! Keep doing it your way.
Dude, you deserve a lot more followers!

Thank you, I appreciate you following along. It’s definitely motivating knowing people have somewhat of an interest in what I have going on
This show is one of the best on UA-cam. Thanks for promoting The Old Car Channel.
Getting a fast x vibe with that spoiler and quarter windows. Really hope the looks more retro mod in the end. Keel up the fine craftsmanship

I’ll take a look into it, I’ve seen some other guys use it as well. Appreciate the info!
Love watching the progress. Can’t wait to see the finished product.
Thanks!

Looks great I hope we cross paths one day I'd love to meet and see your cars 💪
Tedious and exacting are the steps to craftsmanship. Watching you get there is such a hope-filled joy! Cheers!

Hey man, you do you. It is your car and your build. It is awesome to be able to watch your vision come alive. Hammer on !!!
Appreciate it!
Good skills. Coming together nicely. A great investment of time. Will be like a new car.
Cal, you are a very talented young man. Keep living your dream!!
Much appreciated, thank you!
Awesome seeing all the work that goes into making these things happen. Keep killing it!! 🔥🔥🔥
Cool build, I like your style 👍
Thank you
Very impressive for a young man looks great
Thank you
A epoxy primer from Eastwood direct to metal I like that stuff works really good It's a 2 part Primer
Good know, I’ll have to look into it. Thanks!
That mok up really looks good, glad we get to see some of your vision in CAD😂. nice clean work on the trunk 👌🏻
Glad your still working on the car!!
Yes sir, it won’t build itself
You do great car body work💯💯
Thank you!
i have a 69 roadrunner. waiting for the shop to be built end of summer. love the look man!
Sounds like a rad project! Love that body style
Great work as always Cam! Like your vision
Hello from the UK. Great channel 👍🏻
Thank you!

No I appreciate it, I am definitely bad about not wearing a respirator and need to be better about it
Sorry for the ‘spoilers’, and hope any arguments could be ‘diffused’, but this is some great fab work!
(Ba dum crash)
That gave me a good laugh haha, thank you
That's going to be wicked!
Well if your going race car style, might as well go with the Daytona rear window to eliminate that problem area
Not a popular opinion but I honestly like the look of a sail panels more compared to the Daytona plug
Cool 😎 . Tedious work but rewarding 😅🎉
Very tedious is correct haha

proof you dont need a million dollar shop to do good work, just basic tools, dedication and patience
My goal, if anything, is to show that you can do a lot with a little. Just takes some creativity and dedication
Great video Cam Racing, Yeee !!
Loving this build man! Awesome channel 🤙
Thank you, I appreciate you following along
Wow, I am really amazed with your work
Thank you, I appreciate it
You should go work for one of those high end shops that restomods
That is the goal once I am done with school
Should that car be making my man parts tingle? :P
Great work as ever mate.
Haha much appreciated
it’s turning out great!
Thank you
Love the channel, from New Zealand.
Appreciate you following along!
You are doing killer work man!
Much appreciated!

Not currently, I really need to though. Leaning towards an epoxy primer of some kind
When will it be a roller? Some great work but miles to go. Hate to say it but resembles a 69 Camaro with that rear spoiler, maybe a mini Daytona wing?
Your guess is as good as mine honestly. Obviously along ways to go but no reason to rush work just to have to done. It al takes time…especially when you’re learning by yourself along the way
@@camracing You put more effort than most and definitely have the passion and the talent. The final product will be exciting to see; keep on trucking
That spoiler and diffuser will never last if the car gets wet. Should have made them from metal instead of cardboard.
😉
Love the car but please leave the quarter windows in, don’t to the vents!, it’s your car your decision but the car looks so good with glass
They do, but this will be a racecar so they will serve a purpose. I could change my mind though, you never know what may happen
@@camracing fair point, though you were going for street car lol
Yeee Yeee !
🤙
🤘🤘🤘🤘😁😁😁
2025 ❓ just curious 🤔

Good to know, thank you for information!
