Should pull at least one of those PTO plates to clean the magnet on the bottom. It'll help to continue to catch metal shavings verse be so full that it allows them to float around places and cause unwanted wear. Its my guess as to why they didn't put a real drain plug on those things so it makes you hopefully clean the magnet

your air intake is now a hot air intake, factory air box would perform better as it pulls cool air from the fender.

Ok, so ive seen this done in a few videos....but im not understanding. Why have the truck permanently in 4whl? And can you still put it into 2whl? I currently have a 2nd gen 1500 stuck in 4whl and have the posi loc cable ordered, but am wondering if i can do this hack and get it to move into 2whl.

Thanks for the video. I also did the CAD mod which permanently kept the fork and collar in the 4wd position. It worked, but i had a bad vibration at highway speeds around 63 mph. Did your vibration end up going away by installing the posi- lok?

karl's BHAF intake is that exact intake you have plug-and-play. It's only like 250 bucks. Absolutely the best intake. I would recommend building a heat shroud on the exhaust side of that filter to try to keep some of your heat away. I built a custom box and it dimmed down my whistle quite a bit😞

if you don't mind me recommending. 5 in strate pipe is hands-down the way to go if you're gonna spend the money on exhaust. It sounds 10 times better. My truck sounds like a Peterbilt brother. 5 inch straight pipe with an 8 x 15" tip, trust me you'll drool when you hear it. I have tested 3 inch 4 inch and 5 inch with different tips and muffler set ups. The best sound on the diesel was a 5 inch strate with the 8 x 15 tip.

That 24v cummins is mean AF like it's damn fast especially with the nanual and I can just imagine how insane it would be with a tuner. Not only it sounds awesome but man it's got alot of power.

Thats the one thing i miss about my stock turbo. Theyre whistle like theres no tomorrow. My k27 just doest sound nearly as pretty. Working on building compounds now though so maybe the added 76mm will sound nice

I had my tappet cover swapped by a shop because it had a bad leak. They installed a billet cover. Now my truck makes this annoying humming noise that I know is for sure coming from that area by the injector lines but the shop is throwing their hands up saying they don’t know where that noise is coming from. Any ideas what it might be? The noise gets louder as I step on the gas but doesn’t seem to affect the truck.

I did this a couple months ago. DONT do this to your daily driver. It eats through tires. If your tires are not the same diameter to a t it will crabwalk Just not fun with the daily. But if its a beater/funhaver go for it.
