Is your lowfat cottage cheese that big of a difference? I had to switch to full fat because I was reacting to the added whey protein they add to the low fat one was causing major bloating and inflammation. The ones here weren't really that big of a calorie difference I didnt think.
Random thought that popped to mind when you were talking about things bubbling up but you were having ideas and concepts from podcasts or books or whatever coming up instead of hearing God, there is a parable about someone asking to be visited and he made a feast and was visited by multiple other people, and he didn't see that they had been sent. Google says it is in Matthew. Anyway, How do you know that it isn't God answering your questions in a way that you are able to hear right now. Not saying that quietening the mind isn't a good idea, but wondering how you know the messages you are hearing aren't the Universe speaking to you.

Hi Brianna, just found your channel last week. I have watched and enjoyed numerous videos and guilty for never commenting. You are very relatable for me. I am a Sister in Christ, praying for my Lord to help me with this food addiction and understand why I do have it. I have battling weight since as long as I can remember (child). I too started the Body Slims program that ended July 4th and signed up for September session, as well. You are not alone in this journey to get healthy. I very much have enjoyed your videos and will continue to watch them. They make me laugh and sometimes cry and feel I am not alone. Prayers for you and your family.

@@Briannajea Hi Brianna! I was doing well and then life changed when my mom passed unexpectedly. My normalcy was interrupted and I started turning to food for comfort. This time is different though, I realized what I was doing (going back down the same path as I always do and gaining all my weight back) and I stopped it. My fiancé and my children. (LOL) are my support team right now. I keep praying and praying for His guidance and help with this battle that I face everyday. I know I can do this! God never fails. Remembering that has gotten me through a lot of tough times. Life is just too beautiful. I just discovered your videos and didn't watch them daily on your last round, but if you did decide daily, I would be excited to watch them. Plus if it helped you so much, why stop what you know works for you. Praying for both our strength today.
Just checking in since you were talking about comments. 28 year old father of 5 here, currently working on my weight loss. Down 84 pounds this year and 143 pounds since my heaviest 10 years ago. Also a twin dad my twins are 3

Random thought I had on my walk the other day, I had been walking and when I needed something other than negative self talk in my head I had been trying to turn on a music walking playlist, and it was fine, but when I switched and started listening to motivational videos I had downloaded I actually did better in terms of pace. Im still slow, but it seems more motivational than fun music with somewhat questionable lyrics. Lol. And eventually I have a feeling I will just move it up to 1.25x speed instead of normal. Still working on the time management though. Getting even a 45 minute walk in is hard sometimes.
That's awesome that you're getting that walk in 💕💕💕 and it's true, sometimes music powers me up and sometimes listening to a podcast does! I have really enjoyed the "breaking up with binge eating" podcast

I really wish I knew what to expect for weight loss during body slims. Have completely backslid this week with not eating much, and am up .4.... and havent been walking because it was in the 90s and havent been doing much of anything other than trying not to melt. 😂

Lol, I remember when I was her age getting a quart of milk and a container of icing for dinner at work. Or ordering a pizza and eating the whole thing myself. I totally feel the daily milkshake thing. 😅
Maybe this is a stupid idea, but what would it look like if you took a break and focused on planning alternatives and contingency plans for 1 element each week? As an example, I broke my foot going out on a rainy day to walk, so as Ive started working my way up on the walking time Ive worked on what happens if it rains or is icy because I don't feel safe going out to do the walk. Ideas Ive come up with are doing a walking workout UA-cam video (there are lots and most dont require treadmills which I dont have), or maybe doing an alternative workout like doing a bunch of PT type exercises if I'm feeling bad enough I don't think walking itself is an option. I'm still working on a plan for food contingencies, but hoping to figure out getting proteins meal prepped and in the freezer so even if it is pulling out pre-cooked ground beef and tamossing it in a pan with some veg and rice it is better than eating nothing or eating junk.

The Greek salad is soo good and easy..I made it last week. Tomato, cucumber, red onion, feta, chickpeas…maybe something else I’m forgetting and a honey balsamic dressing on it. It’s amazing how filling it is
Also don’t forget that your body is jot just losing weight…it’s likely gaining muscle even if you don’t recognize it…your legs even just from walking so much have probably adding muscle in different areas. I bet that’s why you feel good but don’t see exact number changes you want to see. Or maybe I’m completely wrong 😂😂😂

Random thought, not saying you shouldn't reflect on how your habits are going because obviously that is huge, but I've noticed my cycle affects way more than I thought it did.

I’m just watching the second half, but 100% women have it hard mentally when it comes to body image and food. especially with social media now. Plus we’re alway overstimulated with different ideas on diets, food, workouts and whatever and then on top of that there really is SO much junk out there that is easy to grab in large quantities…it really comes down to muting all the noise and getting to know your body and how different foods affect (effect?) you. Also knowing how to make different recipes and trying new foods is a huge help, makes grocery shopping easier to when you find new things to go for

Lol, I am using the cole slaw mix from aldis this week. Have a video from Ang The Menu Maid in the queue to watch after this for ideas with it. 😂. Today I tossed some on the pan with leftover taco stuff for veg, and I really want to try egg roll in a bowl with some too.

Ur doing such a good job. Its not easy trying to lose weight, or knowing what the right way to lose weight is. Ive always been over weight, childhood to adulthood. Having a disorder also isnt a plus. All u can do is try, and if make a mistake, try again. Ur video is inspiring!

I would guess that walking in the summer vs spring/fall will give you slower times. I’m always so excited and walk so much farther when the weather is cool as opposed to the 0 walks I take in the summer 😂😅
