Not sure if you have GFS or Gordan Food Service near you, I am loving their precooked diced chicken right now. It is 24 grams protein for 120 calories. Getting protein closer to my goal is definitely helping my moods as amino acids are needed to build all the feel good chemicals Ger talks about. My understanding is that ideally you get 1 gram per pound of ideal body weight, but 100 grams a day is just over half that, but seems to be adjusting mood and sleep.
Im behind on peoples videos. But thought I would make the observation that my weight loss slowed way down when BodySlims started. It didnt have as many weeks with small gains, but the weeks I lose it is smaller losses. Beforehand I had tripled my calories to get close to what MyFitnessPal says should result in a 2 pound weight loss. I dropped it down to 1400 calories for the program, but this week I have been aiming for 1600. Im hitting way closer to my protein goals. Fully expect a pretty decent loss this week. Is it low carb like he would like, no. But it feels healthy for my body. Hoping that I can get back to daily walks soon, but we'll see what the dr says Wednesday.
So thankful for Skinny girl. I bring it with me to restaurants.

I’m doing bodyslims right now and I’m doing updates too! I know you’ve been in this game for a while so I don’t want to over step by giving advice. But if you’re open…. I would really love to watch your videos all the way through, but the amount of background noise in every single video I’ve seen is a big hurdle as a viewer. I would imagine your channel could grow exponentially if you stopped multitasking in noisy situations. Your personality is really fun and engaging and you could definitely draw more people in. If that’s not your goal, I totally get it. No worries. But just thought I’d share in case you do care.

You can definitely tell you have lost weight. Keep going. I'm on my second cycle and this time around I'm eating much more like Body Slims recommends and I feel a lot better.

Do you still wait until lunch time to eat and skip breakfast? Just wondering if that could be why the hunger feeling is coming on at night, like you’re expecting to eat soon? Idk just a thought 😅 idk how bodies work. I hate feeling hungry, if I feel hungry I get nauseous almost immediately, headaches and cranky.
I have no idea why that was happening but it happened again a few night ago and I had yogurt at 3 am

Just here to say I REALLY relate to the extreme hunger sensation, it induces rage for me and makes me feel terrible. It has also kept me up at night. I find getting loads of protein in (90/100g) across the day really helps, and fibre too, I take psyllium husk capsules and they are great. Anything to avoid the sore and sickly empty stomach sensation. Food scarcity in childhood definitely complicates trying to understand head versus body hunger. It’s been great following your journey so far, thanks for sharing it xx

Brianna, I enjoyed your vlog today. I’m in Maui working as “the cook” at a MDS site. I’m cooking big meals for the volunteers that come to work. Paul and I will be here working until the middle of December. It is a real struggle to do all of this cooking and not eat it!! I make desserts everyday. I make potatoes and gravy that the men have requested. When I’m at home I don’t cook like that!! So, I listen to your vlog and you encourage me not to “blow it” with my own eating. You know you don’t need to be vegetarian to try tofu. It has more protein than chicken and is super cheap, convenient and easy to prepare. It could add a whole new dimension to your meal options. Try the extra firm, rinse it, cut it in cubes and dry fry it on a non-stick pan. Add some garlic and soy sauce or gravy for extra salt flavoring. I love your videos ❤. Keep going 😊

This is my first round and man, week two was ROUGH for me because I was PMSing. I gave myself a day to just eat whatever I wanted. It destroyed my second weigh in but it was worth it 😂 I’m excited for this Wednesday as I’ve done much better this week. Sometimes you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do!

Yes! Our body is like a furnace!! It needs to be stoked to burn better. It’s WHAT we stoke it with that counts. Keep up the good work!! You only gained 40 lbs with a twin pregnancy? That is really awesome!! 🎉🎉 Have you watched Nicole Collette? She and her husband have lost 130 lbs each thru portion control. They make low cal desserts and everything! (They eat many things I wouldn’t but it has worked for them!!)

Weight fluctuates all the time (extremely frustrating) so I have to try to avoid the scale every day, instead maybe just weigh once a week.

I'm so impressed with your Bodyslims chart tracking your progress. I'm going to do something similar. I just started and I'm a little uncertain about what to eat. Can't seem to get excited about the 3 for 2.
I know I just love the visual!! I wasn't too pumped for the 3 for 2 either, I tried making my own but didn't stick to it. What has worked for me is meal prepping my lunches and snacks, I have the same thing most everyday but because it's right there when I'm hungry it works!

I’m doing the program right now too. The first week I went on holiday and ate whatever I wanted and didn’t do the dedicated walks. I still watched the videos and checked in everyday. I didn’t gain but didn’t lose. This week (2 days in) I’ve been on 100% and weighing everything and already 2 pounds down. I’m planning to be 100% from here on and keep visualising myself at goal and rewatching weekly video over and over. I feel so motivated just after those 2 100% days. Why not just try for 2 100% days you might remotivate yourself like me

Sounds like you talked it out. Remember no one will ever care about your weight loss as much as you. You know your day to day struggles. When someone offers you food and you know you shouldn't partake, ask yourself...Is this "chocolate" worth a temporary moment of happiness? It never is. The people that know and love you, know you are on a health journey and will be ok and respect your decision. I know you got this. Just keep talking it out. Listen to Ger nonstop too LOL

I meal prepped two soups from Skinnytaste cookbook, then I don't have to think about lunch. Which is a huge mental relief this first week.
Yes meal prepping is way more helpful than I had thought!
