You should use it as a tug type toy with your dog and it should be left with the dog un supervised as is the case with most plush or tug type toys. In this respect it may be a better option to consider chews of some type. It very depends on the dog as not all dogs play/tug driven. Alternatives outside of tug might include snuffle mats or licks mats which we have also covered on the channel.

If you genuinally think you dog has allergies you may wan tot consider shifting to a limited ingredient high quality animal protection diet, In most cases dogs allergies are driven by an excess of carbs. While this is a great supplement and can help it is not a cure all to allergies which in reality are pretty rare. Also consider food rotation. The easiest way to counter this if you dog is ok with cold food is consider a pre packaged raw food like that from Stella and Chewy, Tuckers or Primal Pet Food. You can find these are many pet stores. If you do not want to supplement some type of CBD and cannot find this product consider some high quality yogurt and just add it yourself. There are many quality CBD options for pets. An alternative is also consider a more complete supplement like those from Four Leaf Rover, Inclover or Matrix Mushrooms Safe-Sea - Green Lipped Mussel Oil For Dogs is a good starting point especially for skin. The two other companies offer a good option and you could also consider a adding in a small amount occasionally of a prebiotic like Optagest if you are feeding a kibble diet. Yes, no problem for Yorkie and they also have a small breed option. If you want very high grade Ziwis, Sundays and Only Natural Pet Max Meat are great options for smaller breeds with no excess carbs which can easily add weight and very high quality. Kiwi kitchens is also a good option and pre packs from Stella and Chewy or Just Food for Dogs.

That is very surprising I have used them with breeds as large as 120+ without issue. I would contact the company and warranty it. I feel they would replace it without issue. Overall from years of use with varied dogs and varied buckle down collars I would have no qualms recommending them. If looking for something even higher end consider companies that utilize Corba buckles.

you can do either or depends on your dogs preference my dogs eat it straight from the fridge, it warms up a little as I prep it in the bowl with other supplements. The one negative of warming it up is that the dog can become conditioned to warm food so be cautious with it, I prefer to warm up only on occasion or as a fun "special treat".

Both are great options if looking for high quality air dried high animal protein based kibble alternatives. I also do like that ZiWi offers other proteins options for rotational feeding.

Not all male dogs lift their leg up some will lean in and position themselves, as you see in the video I have two male dogs who were able to use it. They have to adjust to using it and this can be improved based on where you position it and through the use of a pheromone spray.

Yes, they are softer than many "jerky like treats" dogs even with small mouths should not have an issue if you want to be cautious you can break them up a bit prior to feeding. Keep in mind though for "food" dogs digestion is very different than humans - A dog's digestion, on the other hand, doesn't begin until the food reaches the stomach this is why it is more like they scraf down/gulp there food. Chewing tends to take place when they need to break down the food. You can slow down the eating process through the use of a slow feeder.

Sorry to hear about your experience, you are correct it can vary and especially if your dogs gut has not adapted it can take a period of weeks even a couple of months to get the gut into a healthy transition state. This can be aided with a quality pre and probiotic mix. It is pretty rare to find a severe true allergy to animal based proteins in dogs but also for some dogs the transition time needs to be extended maybe by a factor of 2 to 4 times longer than the normal period noted on the package. No, it is not sharp and the dogs tongue is very resilient to extending licking sessions. If you want to work your dog up you can start with smaller sizes and work up to larger sizes to get them accustomed to the action of licking.
