In this video I'm in THE Cairngorms for a very unique view, on the side of the Plateau, to which the view is sometimes forgotten about. showing you the little things like streams and rock outcrops that i show in which you can incorporate in the foreground. Plus the Vista can be amazing...... The Location is very remote and hard to get to but worth it and can be an amazing camp for a sunrise. Li...

In this video I'm in Glen Etive exploring the River Etive with some under rated compositions and areas. To get to these locations do require some walking and to be steady on the feet, but can be rewarding in the right conditions. I do visit the honey pot location to finish off, I really don't visit this location as i do find that its overly looked at and photographed as i do like to visit and s...

Landscape/Seascape Photography. The Souter, Berwickshire Scotland.
Переглядів 1,3 тис.2 місяці тому
In this video I'm in Berwickshire, south-east Scotland, in the Scottish Borders visiting the Souter sea stack. This is a very under estimated stack which hardly gets visited for photography. The stack is mainly used for climbers but would make an awesome sunrise location looking east. This was very challenging with a mixture of weather and being hammered by the sea mist blowing in. Its very eas...

Awesome Cliff! As you said, the photographer’s paradise.
Beautiful Cliff ! 😍💙
True, the midgies love it from June - it's always been really sunny when I've been to Skye (February to June usually) - norther Scotland was beautiful, just got back after three weeks up there - so many cuckoos!!
Haha. Brilliant so many cuckoos! Glad you had a good time. Also many thanks for your support and kind comment. Cliff.
Absolutely beautiful Cliff. We sure do miss Scotland. Living in Florida is nothing like what you get to experience daily. Our family misses the UK
Well, that’s an excuse to come back. Safe travels where ever you go. Thank you for watching 👀 🙏
@@CliffHands We plan on returning next year! Fingers crossed thank you for responding
Some epic conditions here, Cliff. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Your welcome. Thank you for watching. 👍
now thats a view great video and photography cant wait for the next
Thank you 🙏
Stunning location, Mr. Selfie. Indeed a miracle that you were there all alone. There can be only one !
🙏 thank you 🙏
My favourite place is that been a few years since I was last there however this October I WILL BE BACK can’t wait some cracking images as per fella and one hell of a selfie 👌👍
Thank you for watching and the support. I hope when you visit the weather is kind. Hopefully no midges too. Again thank you for watching and your kind comment. Cliff.
Glad to see that you survived the attacks of the „flying teeth“. These shiny images are the right reward for this strenuous hike up to the top. 👍 … cheers, 😊
They are a nightmare sometimes, but you get used to the midge after a while. Thank you 🙏 very much for the support and kind comment.
Magic as usual, Cliff, it is definitely a beautiful otherworldly place and in that Light just perfect, I Hope your Blood transfusion went well after the Midges, they really are a curse.
Roll on summer when the midge are out in full lol…absolute nightmare sometimes… Thank you 🙏 for the support and your kind comment. Cliff.
Very beautiful images, thank you for the journey! I highly recommend "skin so soft" for the midges!! It works perfect. You can still feel them on the surface of your skin but they will not bite you anymore. Please let me know if you like it. Best regards Yamo
Thank you 🙏 for watching, support and your kind comment. I use smidge and skin so soft on occasions but this time I was unprepared. Next time the midge net will be out. Thank you again for your kind comment. Cliff.
Another great video,I received your book on landscape photography as a birthday present from my girlfriend, it's a great book
Thank you Denny. Also thank you for watching and your support, lots of places to cover this year on Scottish landscape and back doing more international too. Again thank you. 🙏
Some Cracking Images there. Love the 35 second dash, I assumed you were using a remote control for those things. Must be great to have the place to yourself and the midges 😅
Aye, just throw 35 sec on the Intervalometer remote, enough time to get around to selfie rock. Having the place to myself is really unheard of. I was expecting the location to be busy. Thanks for watching Paul and your kind comment. Cliff.
brilliant Cliff ..to have the place to yourself was an added bonus , the light on the Storr was something else .. the images are stunning ..I know the effort you put in to get to these places and it certainly pays off ...im heading up climbing next weekend for a week so il need to stop off and try that selfie 👌 once again keep up the good work and your output ...1st class 👌
A real bonus having it to myself. Yes the light was fantastic. Enjoy the climb next weekend and have fun. Hopefully the weather will be kind for you. Thank you for watching and your kind comment. Cliff.
Great pictures. I was there a few weeks ago. One point worth mentioning is that the lighthouse is on private property accessible only by a private fenced off path.
super images - well done. was there a few years ago, but didn't spend enough time as had very low clouds and mist most of the day. Got to go back!!!
whens it out Cliff
Tomorrow! 🫢
@@CliffHands nice 1 ..looking fwd to it 👌
Slight delay but out tonight
Looks astonishing, would love to go there some day
This dude’s Just taking videos from my backyard…🤷🏻♂️🏴
Lucky to be there without the Sea Mist
I really miss Scotland
Nice nice nice
Stunning , did you do the camp along the way & how many days
I was in Accommodation with baggage transfer. Next time il do it camping though… Done it over 7 days
Stunning footage ❤🏴 The West Highland Way must be amazing to do, fantastic scenery. Hope you had a good weekend 😊
Thank you 🙏
great footage again Cliff ..certainly looks a lot easier from up above 🤣
Wish it was that easy…🫢
Beautiful ❣
Brilliant, im up there in the Summer and thinking of buying a drone now 😂 thank you for sharing
Awesome job Cliff! I’m Just starting with using a drone so this is good inspiration 👍🏼
Amazing video. Thanks for sharing. 👍17
❤ !!!!!!
Beautiful
I watched all of that and then ended up seeing the briefest glimpse of 1 image and there was no light on the mountain. I checked out your website and I think ive seen the images you took in this video. Overall not bad.. but i think it may of been best as Charlie Waite would say.. of getting 1 outstanding image rather than shotgun a place and get quite a few ok photographs. It appears you spend a lot of time in the area, so no need to take so many... there is 1 image there that is perfect.. far better to scout that out and wait for when everything perfectly comes together.
I've flown below rim through the Grand Canyon at sunset - and that's what your final images reminded me of.
Well done for revealing the S-bends location. Been there a dozen times with not a single photographer in sight. Not any more. Clown.
Wow cliff absolute brilliant shot
Thank you Graham for watching and your kind comment 😀
fantastic location and images 📷👌👍
Thank you 🙏 it’s quite a place.
Would it be possible to share the exact locations of the 1st waterfall?
Robert you can’t miss it when you’re down there with the what three words I gave. It’s right next to the bridge. There is so many compositions you can create, be careful though as it’s a deep gorge.
So powerful images !!! Great.
Thank you Michael. 😀
Good effort, Cliff. Well worth the big walk in with the heavy bag. Always a nervous moment when you unzip the tent door in the morning high up. Loved your vid from a couple of years ago when you captured the sunrise further round at Hell's Lum. Quality. Nice one.
Thanks Johnny. Yes I’ll end up with knackered knees soon. Thanks for watching and your kind comments. 😀
Thanks Johnny. Yes I’ll end up with knackered knees soon. Thanks for watching and your kind comments. 😀
Gorgeous ! ❤
As always. Thank you 🙏
Fantastic images Cliff. It just seems like yesterday I was watching your last vlog from there, not two years ago.
Thanks for the very kind comment and checking the video out. Yes the cairngorms is very underrated and missed. Need to spend more time there. C
In the Cairgorms this month, perhaps not up there in snow though - Deserved results given the effort, so pleased it worked out for you.
It was a gamble, the weather predicted was good for a sunrise. Very unpredictable though the cairngorms. Thank you for watching and your kind comment 😀
@@CliffHands Good weather is not my priority, but looking forward to the two weeks. North of Inverness after.
@@hjones451 oh! North of Inverness. Torridon? Moray coast? Assynt? Nice 👌
@@CliffHands A cottage overlooking the Moray Firth - will 100% go to Assynt and some of the west coast beaches, plus a few areas never visited before.
Stunning photography & just love that pink & purple sunrise🩷💜
It was good to see. Thank you 🙏
Amazing as ever, Cliff !!
Thanks for checking it out Marcel. ☺️

Superb Images, I was up in the Cairngorms last October and the weather was not very good Rain and storms and more Rain ! I don't climb much now as i am an Old Boy but I still like to get about when I can, looking forward to more Videos, take care, Colin.
Aye. The weather can be horrendous sometimes. The amount of times I’ve climbed a mountain and had no results.. Thank you for your kind comment Colin 😊
