Landscape/Seascape Photography. The Souter, Berwickshire Scotland.

- In this video I'm in Berwickshire, south-east Scotland, in the Scottish Borders visiting the Souter sea stack. This is a very under estimated stack which hardly gets visited for photography. The stack is mainly used for climbers but would make an awesome sunrise location looking east. This was very challenging with a mixture of weather and being hammered by the sea mist blowing in. Its very easy to find, but i would recommend parking at the Fast Castle layby as its a shorter walk, unlike myself i parked in the Quarry car park about a one mile further away.
I wouldn't say the images i got are portfolio standard, although i will be revisiting this location for a summer shot.
I'm back out in the highlands again very soon making more videos and showing you loads of places that i haven't shown yet. I'm definitely looking forward to sharing my photography locations with you all and thank you folks for all the support so far in this Journey.
Thank you for taking the time to watch this video and please let me know what you think of the Images in the comments, Although i hadn't put up any landscape orientation images.
See you soon in the Highlands.

Glad you posted this Cliff. I'm in this area tomorrow and, weather permitting, may be able to visit this location. Thanks again!
Your very welcome and thank you for your kind comment…🙏
Cliff on the cliffs, with a 'stack' of entertainment for all?😮 Got distracted by St.Abbs last September, ended up spending all day there and never got further north to see this area - A big shame, isn't Britain just a total Wonder?
There’s always a next time and a place to put in the little book of places to visit. I really need to explore this area myself in the the future. Indeed I have a book full of locations I’ve Scouted. Especially my next Vlog in Glencoe: although it’s not for the faint hearted, but never seen it photographed from. I’ve gotta wait for a tad bit of right weather for it..🙏
@@CliffHands My little book is stacked full - I'm off to the Cairngorms and Black Isle for a few weeks in May, plus the Dales and east coast of Yorkshire. Also booked in for Harris & Lewis + Barra & Mull for the start of 2025 - Can't wait to get started.
Driven past that part of the coast many times and not stopped at that location; dot on map for the future Thanks
Aye. its a cracker of a coastline from dunbar all the way down to St Abbs. needs more exploring. waiting for the longer days...
Looks like a great location could you give me the three words again as the three words were cut off on the screen. Nice blog mate well done wouldn’t mind travelling there myself. Looks like quite a long walk, however? Could you advise I have problems with my legs?
Finalists.bundles.sulk.
The walk is much easier from fast Castle car parking spot.
It’s a lovely not to sore on the legs, I’d do it on a nice day though…
Thank you for the support Paul.
Hope this helps.
The fast castle parking is just before the farm…
@@CliffHands thank you. Might vlog from there one day so keep an eye on the channel lol. Thanks
bit different
Aye. Some coastal out of my red book of locations. Next up Glencoe buddy, but it’s a tricky one but worth it…
