I dread the day i have to do the timing and gears on one of these engines, seem pretty simple Japanese style tensioner like mazda, i've smoked a few with the intech, never been beaten by an SS only 370z, those coil position sucks like 3.2 benz they over heat and break.

Anyone know what website people can buy these engines from? I’ve seen about gumtree for very but not sure abt it. Do these actually sell cheap. I’m interested in the red top barra for the turbo and put a bigger one in there.

Yep only fuel pressure reg is different injectors are the same for turbo and n/a. Watching the cam sensor clips break 😂 they always do easy to get new clips just D pin out of the old one and re pin into new clip

Access with those 'fat ratchet spanners was overcome by looking around for old- school on the cheap ring spanners on the barra just hunt for the specific sizes shocking locations. In the day mechanics used valve lapping grit for m- cycle case sealing , might have helped when finishing off the final seal , just rubbing the fitting parts together . Enjoyed watching the video again thanks .

yeh both run stock 28 lb injectors

Ive got an ecolpi and wanting to mod it to go a bit harder. But i cant find any fuel injectors to be able to support it. I was thinking of getting a custom dual fuel rail if thats possible

Great info, I've watched it several times. I have now disassembled my territory turbo engine because of a big end knock. The crankshaft has damage. Do you know if a N/A crankshaft is the same as a turbo?

Me and my mate just swapped a ecoLPI with unknown kms from upullit into his BA and it looked exactly the same. Clean as. Just a benifit of gas
