Good job mate , and good times , i remember years ago ( vaguely , i`m old ) when EA`s got a bit of flak for head gasket failures on the 6 , not sure if EB`s also copped that too , but they where kinda of tarred with the same brush i think at the time ?
Anyway to make long story short , we had an interstate visitor come visit s few years ago , and i got to drive an EA or EB for the first time , and i was surprised at what a really nice car it was too drive , and yours is a very nice example and a credit to you ..

the video makes it look like your reaction time needs some improvement, every launch you were well after the other bloke. BTW whats the speaker 12 & Horn behind you?
Thanks for watching! The ET doesn't start counting until after you leave the line so reaction time has no consequence to the time i ran. I was waiting for intake pressure to build before leaving so i was at the line a little longer than the bloke in the other lane.
That 12 & horn case was for an old ElectroVoice PA system i used to own.
Is it an XR6? Or Fairmont/falcon with front swapped?
Check that rattle mate. Torque convertor and fly wheel bolts come loose once you start leaning on it. Your ankles will appreciate it.

Definitely needs a diff or at least a mini spool, noticed it was opening up a bit ,wouldn't be helping the forward momentum too much putting more power through 1 wheel than the other 🤔
Unfortunately diffs ain't cheap, I was quoted 2200 for my m78 with just a truetrack center ,stock axles, new bearings n seals, but factory axles are pretty strong anyway, through a place in Geelong (can't remember the name but they have a good rep) they recoed my tailshaft and after seeing your build cost vid I'm realizing I could of got one built one for only 400ish more 🙄🤣

Doing a turbo buick atm myself (wishing I just did a barra lol)
But I'm in too deep now to change it , just a stock rebuilt buick (s1) with arp head studs , a tony'z turbo garage turbo kit ,eBay gt3582r externally gate, same intercooler as yours, converted to t5, aiming for around 400bhp (300kw) which Tony tells me it'll have no dramas doing 👌
and after seeing yours run with 328kw ,ebs are what 1500/1570kg or something around there ,vns 1370kg (possibly 1400 now) I'm confident in my high 11 target/prediction, possibly 12.0s 👌 but with that being said I'm limited to maybe a 255 and that's pushing it due to vns tiny guards lol
I'm up to the part of all the fiddly little shit to fire it for the first time 🙄 having issues finding a 7/16-7/16 fitting for my oil feed into t peice on the pump housing or a 7/16 to metric m10 , proving a head fk lol
Might give up n just cut the 7/16 end off the line and change it to a -4 fitting but not 100% as the lines fitting is a pressed fitting ,worried I might cause a leak point 🤔

I've got my build on Instagram, mytime_racing or just mytime racing on fb ,insta where I put most of my stuff, much easier than fb ,thought of doing UA-cam but lack the self confidence and well it takes so much time to do 🙄 I filmed 1 day and it took 8hrs to do a 3 hr job and I was like fk this I just wanna get it done 🤣 although in hindsight thanks to lockdowns I would've had plenty of time....
Anyway keep up the good work man 👌👍
