I’ve had my ‘97 80 series for 23 years. Manual petrol turbo. I’ll never get rid of it either. Probably keep the LPG though it’s a liquid injection type with its own map on the aftermarket ECU. Our favourite places to explore are the Victorian high country. We’ve been binge watching your videos for the last few months. We really enjoy your content and the fact that you’re just yourself. 👍 Good on you Daniel. We appreciate your hard work making and sharing your videos. Yeah, you can get to Lake Cobbler from Cheshunt with a 2wd/SUV, but that's as far as you'd want to go.

Total wrong approach on that slippery downhill. Just locking your wheels and skating down is a bad idea you have chance to steer if needed . 1st gear in low range is the key and keep wheels turning and let engine brakes do its thing. So much more control than what he just did

Always thought these American trucks might be too big for some of our tight tracks but then again you've got guys with converted Unimogs now so I guess it's not that big a deal. Just have to do your homework and choose the right track otherwise there ain't no turning back.

I have those Campboss deflators and I gave up on them as they are wildly inaccurate if you go by the pressure scale on their side. I would set them by using them on a tyre to set the cutoff pressure, that's until 2 of them became even more inaccurate and aired down too much. So I no longer use them, for the $120 they cost, the gauge is more practical. As once you remove them you have to check the pressures they aired down to anyway.

The plastic pipe water storage on the Silverado is just ridiculous, replace it with a simple jerry can or two.

I really don't get this stupid habit of cutting back fallen trees 'just' wide enough for a ute to get through. How the hell is a CFS truck supposed to operate during bush fires ???

Great vid mate, you seriously are one of my favourite 4wd content creator on youtube. Watching your stuff also inspired me a bit to set the goal and finally get my own 4x4 to tour in (2017 paj). Being more of a hiking background, the most of I've ever done is driving our 75 series work horse around the farm ... so I'm still quite a novice. But your content is a big inspiration to learn more and get out there. Also trolls will be trolls .. I get plenty on my channel as well. I'll never understand someone putting in the time and energy to complain on a youtube video.
