I've camped in there before around 14 years ago But have herd this hut had gone.

We did a trip out that way a couple of years back and stayed at Wrens Flat. We explored down to Silverwater Hut but we didn't have as much debris to contend with as you did. Looks like the blackberry and grass between the hut and the river has grown even more than when I was last there. We were able to beat a path through to the river, watching out for danger noodles the whole time ! There was evidence of recent visitors, including where someone had tried to carve out there own track going up the hill directly opposite the hut entry... plenty of trash left as well 😞
It's a good spot, I just came back from there again and this time I done a massive clean, all the blackberrys are now cleared from the hut, it took me a good couple of hours but it's done, stay tuned for that video, will be available around a month or so from now 👍
Nice one mate, back on my side of the ranges, some great country over there. Nothing wrong with the old snags with dead horse mate, always cooked on the fire, nothin better. Looking forward to the rest of the trip!.....by the way, bring back the ladies and gentlemen lol.

Well done again mate and an area I know as a mate of mine and I hacked our way through an overgrown track and found some buildings complete with a lot of gear left in them, we think it was the town of Tanjil Bren but not sure, it was on a River where the miners had diverted the flow by cutting a diversion through a rock u turn and working the river bed, anyway keep safe and catch ya. Thanks mate 👍 I've camped on the Tanjil river in that area years ago, I'm wondering now where the tunnel is, I know there's one at Red jacket near Matlock, also another at Deptford and tunnel bend as well, I didn't go into Tunnel bend due to time.
Might Dina trip into Tanjil Bren one of these days.

Great episode Bush. Could actually feel your tiredness lol in the vid as we've all had those loooooong hours in the saddle as we drive hours & hours only to get somewhere that is not quite as you planned ........ ya stuffed, frustrated, knackered & all you wanna do is sit your arse down with a beer & relax but you gotta push on, get wood, set up etc etc. Things dont always goto plan & thats part of the adventures we all actually love & what keeps bringing us back. Some think its a walk in the park until they get out there haha A lot buy wood from the servo as well, No me or anyone I know. Its all part of the fun that makes up appreciate a cold one and that style of camping.

80s looking good, have you considered whacking the tow jerries on rear bar on another carrier? Saves you lugging 40kgs on the roof and lifting them up and down?

I would get a second swing away for water maybe I'm the future.
To be honest I like the space without the swing away getting in the way of the back of the Rig.

@@Bush-Tv I have heard that, wasn’t sure if true or not but yes I agree with the access of not having another carrier, it’s definitely easier to get around camp!
Hut area has definitely deteriorated, good call going for a quick walk!

@@James_James01 yeah it's a lot easier to get around into the back that Hut needs a good working bee, I might even go back myself for a couple of days and clean it up.
The river is really good there as well 👍
Another enjoyable video, long time since I visited Wrens, there was a hut there from memory, but that was in my drinking days😁. One question if I may, how do you get the camera to pan as in 23.09? It looks like you paced to keep in time? Cheers
