Cheers Dan, that was us that you saw on the 16 Mile Jeep Track, when you stopped and chatted to us. Have been waiting to see this episode. Was a highlight of our trip bumping into you on the tracks. What a true down to earth guy you are in the flesh, just like you come across on your channel. Can't wait to get back down to the high country again next year to do so many more tracks as our trip had to be cut short for me to return to Qld for Breast Cancer surgery. Hence why I was on the phone arranging appointments when you came across us ( as soon as we got phone reception). Keep up your awesome videos Bush TV. Cheers from Natalie, Darren, Scotty and Rony from Qld.
It's always a pleasure bumping into people who watch the content. I hope the vids have been a help for you guys and no doubt about getting back in the high country. There is so much to see even I've only scratched the surface.
Hope all went well for your surgery and get well ASAP and back in the bush.
Thanks again for the comment.
Cheers
Simply amazing scenery my friend! 👏👏
Glad you enjoyed it, Its one of those hidden gems in there mate 👍

Another great video, I never leave home without a small trap. Comes in bloody handy
Thanks mate, got one for the swag and a small spare for those little issues 😉
Love this channel just out there doing it basically anyone could follow in your tyre tracks do this😊
Thanks mate, keeping it real all the way 👍

🎉brah... im unable to get out so thankyou for.sharring your travels!!
Pleasure mate 👍 glad you enjoy 👍👍
Well done again. Only saving grace for having those 'leak issues' is you are on pretty easy going as far as tracks & remoteness went. Had it been a worse issue you know help was not far away around those tracks. Still .......... a pain in the arse nonetheless. Not major but bloody annoying & it all costs $$$$. The price we all pay for a bit of BushTV! 👍
Yeah Mate was pretty lucky, I could have dropped back out to Mansfield as well but decided to push on. Still enjoyed every bit of and didn't let is spoil the trip. 👍👍
Another good one mate. Too bad about the leaks, nothing major but its a pain in the arse cos its always in the back of your mind when your out there. Well done carrying the plb to mate, setting a good example for everyone, especially when your solo.
Yeah defiantly one of those things that sits in the thoughts on all trips especially when you know you have a huge walk out for service if anything happens mechanically, yeah always carry that beacon mate, Its a must.
Glad you enjoyed Damo, Cheers for the comment mate 👍👍
Thoroughly enjoying the content I think I like the talking ones better. But they’re all good. Do you have any stubby coolers for sale. Keep up the good work. Dave200 👍🏻
Thanks mate, I mix it up a bit 👍 yeah I've got quite a lot of stubby holders here, just getting a shop going then ill post it up on Facebook and in the new video descriptions 👍 cheers for the comment mate 👍
Another great instalment in the series. Enjoying watching the trip and some of the challenges. Keep up the great work.
Thanks mate, Appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment, 👍👍👍

Nice buddy, so good getting to a camp spot & it's unoccupied
100% can't beat that mate,
Cheers
Just watched you tighten the front diff bolts so Ithought I'd check mine and yep loose, must be an 80 thing.
Just as well mate, Might want to check the oil level now as well
Great vid mate thanks for sharing the Vic high country with us didn’t even know some of these places existed gotta get out there I spose pity bout the leaks but it’s the joys of owning a vehicle..keep up the good work
Glad to be an inspiration 👍 yeah mechanical issues are all part of the fun of 4WDing👍
I find myself both inspired to visit these spots you find (& not just in this video) and to kick myself in the butt for not knowing about these treasure spots you reveal. Maybe the old maps weren't as good as now, or the walking tracks in didn't exist 30-40 years ago, but thanks muchly for showing us. I have "ticked off" a few spots that I'll revisit.
G'day Deejay,
Really glad its inspired you mate, Its such a great part of the world. Not sure what the older maps had to offer, Ide have to ask a mate whos walked a lot of the High country many many years ago.
Mate it really make it all worth it for me when I get a comment like yours.
Thanks so much for watching and really appreciate the feedback mate.
Cheers.
Well, you have certainly been in the wars with them oil leaks mate and I would be having a yarn with the bloke who did the repairs on your front carrier, should have been torqued not F.T. ay !!, goddonya with some great spots and keep safe ok !! Cheers
Yeah that's diff wasn't the only let down from that company mate.
I had a bent front diff housing and that's a job I didn't have the time to do myself.
So I got a local business to replace it with all new parts that I supplied to find out they hadn't put in the new parts after a front bearing was shot after my 1st trip.
Problem is it's hard to prove once the job is done
Time for a G+T!!!!
👌
Great video dan love the content. Are you still working or full time on UA-cam now. You seem to spend a lot of time in the bush😂
Cheers mate 👍, Not full time yet mate.
Wouldn't service on that at the moment 👍
Enjoying your videos, so thanks. Can you advise the best place to get High Country maps with road/track detailed. Cheers
Cheers mate, I would say rooftop maps are generally the best.
What a great place wouldn’t want be there , when there’s been heavy rain it would be gushing though that gorge.
It's awesome mate 👍 would sound pretty good tho 👍
Branded shirt 👍
👍👍🔥👍👍
My 80 when I had it bud leaked really bad to the extent it dripped , Input shaft seal but always looks worse than it is bud , just drive it, enjoy the weekend then just carry a top up bottle unless you just get a recon box or fix yours , stay safe cob 👍🏼
Cheers mate, After that trip I got a lot done and the old girl is running really good. Done three leaks, Rocker cover, oil cover Oring seal, to get to that harmonic balancer had to come off so we done the front main as well. New starter, New power steering pump, New high flow thermostat, all new belts and hoses. and fixed the front diff housing inspection cover seal. so a lot got done. Might end up putting a Turbo Barra in one day, see how it goes.
Thanks for watching mate. Glad you enjoyed. 👍👍👍
you could of had a bath in that fire place by the time you your finished with it
Was hot enough to mate 😉
First like then watching
Thanks mate, Glad you enjoy it and cheers for the comment 👍
I reckon you're running an engine guard 👍🏻
Sure is mate 👌
What size tyres are you running bud
33" mate 👍
Mate, what I would give to have your knowledge and just do trips. My 'bus' is ready (I think) and I am ready to retire and head out doing trips.....lack the trip experiences and local knowledge is a stumbling block
Thanks mate, it's taken a lot of years to gain 👍
A great spot to start is in the Licola area mate 👍
@@Bush-Tv ta....did you start going Solo right from the beginning or did you tag along a learnt the tracks with a mate?
@@sshoh9222 I started of in the 80's with my farther, then continued with a mate that I'm still going with. Solo trips started around 2006, But I do a lot more now days mate.
