Great Video. I washed my F150 today, I drove on a road that services Concrete Company, Landfill, Stone Crushing and process site, Factories and the chemical plant I work and salt. A steam generation plant that has chemicals in it in a big cloud for hours. I encountered over the 20 years that nothing took these chemicals off. I washed with Stars and Stripes 10:1 and Snake Oil at 5:1 touch-less just to see what happened. The truck was clean. I was very glad. Month later Truck was a mess up here in the Buffalo, NY. Today I went with 5:1 wash, I tried to use just the Yellow tip with the Ryobi electric washer on the passenger side to rinse off and all seemed fine. Last time I used the Turbo Nozzle on the whole Truck. This time only on the front, tailgate and driver's side with the turbo. Passenger side when I applied Snake Oil I seen in the suds lines of the Yellow tip spray left behind like you seen. That didn't appear on the rest of the truck. So I used the turbo nozzle to remove the Snake Oil suds and there was no lines after. White glove check, no dirt and no lines. I was not real close with the Turbo Nozzle the circle is between 5 and 6 inches in Diameter and my passes were slower and with 50% overlap like the Yellow Tip. All the other cleaners I used in the past with the yellow and the Turbo always left something behind. ChemX is the go to, no touch.
Thanks man! Good info! It's a great product no doubt. I think what you have to do to remove the film depends on your environment & how dirty your truck or car is. Geography makes a big difference, the road grime and film we get in the northeast is insane....it's more than just a desert dust...it take a little getting used to. Sometimes a contact wash has to be performed but in the winter months, we try not to do that. Thanks for your feedback and keep watching for more content! Happy Holidays!
Good Morning! Hey great video. Love the editing! Like I've ALWAYS heard it... Not All Dirt Is Created Equally. I'm actually shocked that I could see that light film on the panel. I've done the White Rag wipe test when I'm done and I never get anything on the towel (can't see it with the naked eye anyway). I'm glad you tried it and gave it a fair shot. Using the One Wiper or Awesome Sauce afterward works fine.... I'll be trying One Wiper here real soon. Thanks for the shout-out, Rob! Good stuff, man, be good!
@@detailit Doug! Thanks for the recommendation and assistance during this process. I'm a believer for sure and I can see why so many truckers use these. It's simple and quick. I can't wait to try it in the winter months on my main cars
I bought a gallon of each last week, but sorry to say I’m not impressed with it. It didn’t clean as I saw on other videos mine was slightly worse than your results, but not impressive. The fact that you have to hurry in so much because what could go wrong and all. Anyway, thanks for the content
@@alisomji3294 yeah, I think it's a great pre-rinse for sure. Makes for a very safe contact wash. It's really designed for big rigs where contact washing is not practical at all. I personally like Bilt-Hamber touchless , Jimbo's Super soaper and drivelabs Hotlap. And Carpro reset as a ph neutral slick soap for contact washing. What soap do you currently use ??
There is no doubt these products do work, unfortunately for me, they are to costly. Detailit DOUG, (see below) likes and uses these products. I like using rinseless washing for maintenance washes. For my acid washes I use a mineral remover & a high ph Soap (cost $9 a gallon).
@@hartlanddetailer5670 Cool! I like this stuff a lot and can't wait to use it in the winter months when a contact wash in the NE will be impossible. Unless you happen to be lucky with a climate controlled garage. Unfortunately I'm not there yet :( Someday. Doug recommended this to me and I'm pleased with the results. The road grime in the northeast is something special. lmao. hard for any soap to remove without a contact wash. But I'm impressed for sure.
What a cool thing to come across! Thanks for makin my day and awesome video😁👏💯❌
@@ChemX You guys rock !! Probably going to use this system on my car this weekend as it's so COLD out :)
