Could you make a video on good genetics to start out with for new breeders

I’ve been watching your videos prepping for my start to work with ball pythons just want to say thank you

100% While I do plan to add another rack next year, I'm cycling out animals before the next breeding season. I'm hoping to upgrade my collection because someone else is doing the same. I hate to call it a pyramid, but it really is in a way. Anything not at least 100% Het is on its way out to open up valuable space for other animals to actually further my projects.

Another great video John, I have a question for a possible future video. What do you do if you have a near hatchling age ball python that went into shed but never shed his skin even with high humidity? Still has eye caps and all.

I always forget ring lights exist. Great video. I have a bunch of high end cameras that I haven’t been able to use I awhile. Gonna have to get a ring light and jump on to making more professional photos

Sorry you lost one! Its really sad..Did the 2 you were worried about make it? Ive got two babies in egg with what looks like reduced pattern and cant see any movement, leaving them be and hoping they come out 🤞 just checking every day or two for any signs of life. Other 6 seem fine but my incubator did fluctuate a lottle at end of development (28.8-31.1 degrees c) hoping that hasnt done any damage. Love watching your videos and thankyou for sharing the sad truths with breeding harly anyone shares this side of breeding.

See now this method makes sense and it seems like it would be much easier to keep the environment sterile this way. I was going to do this same type of thing and wipe it down with alcohol first and then put reverse osmosis water in there, seal it and let them go. I mean you're keeping them at 100% humidity anyways basically so why more people haven't thought of this is beyond me. I'm definitely switching over to this method

I have a normal male ball python. He was my first snake. He has lived in tanks, home made racks , now a 55 in an ARS rack. He will never leave here. He got me started. I made every mistake with him. This was a good video....but you will regret selling that lemon blast some day. Trim the fat, not your history.

Could you tell me what brand or model number your thermometers are. Or maybe someone could share their thoughts on that. I don't trust the ones I used in my first breeding season.

Definitely agree I have decided despite having more room available I don’t want to add an additional rack and I’ll just upgrade and move stuff out to help add to someone else’s collection
