is this kit a direct bolt on to factory turbo and exhaust?
@@Richie_RHD hey yeah, so it mounts right onto the back of the turbo. Then your down pipe mounts to it. However you do have to hook up a small air compressor and small air tank on the frame in order for it to work. Is this something you think you might try to hook up? Thank you for watching :)

Finally someone that dosent constantly shift at redline. I dont understand why people drive these old diesels like race cars, they are meant to be cruised like a semi using the low end torque shifting at below 2200.

why do all the dodge ram owners rotate their shifter knob 45 degrees?
@@HudsonGTV I think a lot of them came from the factory like that in all honesty. I never messed with the shift knob and it’s never felt loose at all.

Finally someone who knows how to drive stick properly, I watched a video about a power stroke 1995 model dually 7.3 changing gears, he put gas as he was pushing in the clutch, which can break the clutch. And no you don't add gas to the engine while doing the clutch, you let go of the gas and then push in the clutch. Also when releasing the clutch do it slowly so you don't break it.
When I learned to drive stick my father had taught me to double clutch. It carried over when I had to get my CDL. Thank you for watching!

What you’re talking about usually comes with age. When I was your age I was all about pushing myself as well but as I aged I realized it wasn’t worth it. I learned to slow down and stop to smell the roses. Life is short. I’m 52 now and don’t know how I got here so fast lol. Enjoy it while you’re young because when you get older you’re too tired to enjoy much. Look at me now; a rambling old man lol. Just listen to your inner self. It will never lie to you. @@williamhsteele off topic but have you checked the killer dowel pin on ur truck? I have an 02 24 valve and can't find a definitive answer if the later years of 2nd gen have the issue
@@youngproductions1401 sorry for the delay, got busy with work. I have checked my truck and it seems to have been fixed from the factory. I’ve also heard and read that the 2001-02 trucks were fixed from the factory by then. However don’t hold me to it.
My 1st diesel was the exact same as that same Color too
This one is pretty sentimental to me as my father bought this one and I basically grew up in this truck.

I just bought 01 6 speed high output i have been watching this amd other videos on repeat to get familiar with the sound and shift points great sounding truck. What rpms do yoh shift at?
I apologize for the delay, busy week at work. Well I have 4:10 rears so it may be different for you but when I’m empty I shift between 1700-1900 rpm. The closer I get to 6th gear the higher up I’ll go. If I have a trailer I move to about 1800-2100 rpm. Do you know what rears you have?
How miles on that dually?
She’s got 79,600.

@@thatredcummins3465 I got lucky finding this one. A guy had it since new and had an in-bed camper and that’s all he used it for. The rest of the time it stayed in a pole barn. He took care of her. The only thing I need to do is change the dash out as it has a 1 foot crack on the passenger side of the dash.
Get a heavier splitting maul for that oak, 6-8 lb.
