I‘m trying to straighten buildings in AP2 for iPad. Couldn’t find it yet. The LrC equivalent is the Transform tool. Why the most useful things are so hidden away in AP 😢

How do i move anything pixel by pixel? Its bloody impossible to do minor adjustments with the pencil or god forbid the finger. With Procreate i can just tapp pixel bu pixel, veru neat.

A little too much time on explaining how to zoom in and out or how to move a photo. I was looking for an affinity tutorial not an iPad tutorial😊

Hi Andrew did you ever make video on crawling text on the bottom of an image in CapCut for iPad, like at the bottom of a newsreel? A few videos out there but I’m struggling, thanks Chris 👍

After a certain amount of nodes, the software creats a new layer and then my selections aren't complete , coz half the selection is in one layer and next in other layer. If anybody can give me a solution it would be great

What would (my)retirement be without Andrew putting energy into YT and giving guidelines for learning and coming from PS (which I did not master) now progressing and having fun and less frustration (although hot having the same tools layout as you makes a little difficult) whatever I am repeating the videos and getting better every time. Thanks, Andrew. Some very helpful tips on navigating new photo software. I’ve been a PS CS6 user for years on PC but was fed up with ‘Subscribe or you’re on your own’ from Adobe. I moved to Affinity V1 but never really got into it so stuck with an unsupported CS6 until Affinity V2 Suite became available for £29!!! I installed Photo V2 on my iPad but simply couldn’t even get the first lesson to work until I watched your video. Now I know the odd structure of commands it has all fallen into place. Greta stuff and I look forward to seeing£ to watching more from you about Affinity V2 😬👍

Hi Andrew I need help, I have a 2020 iPad Pro with infinity photo 2, I have a photo of a sunrise and want to add a filter ‘zoom blur, But I only want to apply it to the sky, what I do is I first duplicate the photo, then add a mask layer, then add the zoom blur , then I invert the zoom blur in channels so I can use Apple pencil to draw the zoom blur on the sky, I then select in painting brush and make sure the colours are white and black to add or remove zoom blur, But when I start applying it it works for a few seconds then resets the photo back again so my adjustment did nothing?

Cheers Andrew! Question, do you know if there is a setting that lets you see the brush outline as you are painting/erasing. For example, other editors, usually you can see the outline of a round brush so you know exactly where it starts/stops. I’ve found using affinity IPad that the outline disappears as you initiate the touch. Hopefully that makes sense?😅

love it Andrew! Do you know how to make the adjustment layer effect the layer you have selected? (without having to drop the adjustment layer ontop? (think photoshop has an option like apply to selected layer)

Is there any way to reduce the song? At times they will over extended during the creation of the audio. I have a few that are two min+ over size with breaks or restarts in them.

i just signed up to the paid plan, I have tried extending it twice, Its an instrumental. The song is only 1.22 minutes and when I extend it it only extends it by 2 seconds

For undo, I prefer the undo and redo buttons, which can be enabled in settings. Also less smudging the screen.
