Would love to have more videos on raw processing from you. This was great and you make it so straightforward. Thank you
Thanks for your comment, kind words and feedback Karen! Would you prefer RAW tutorials on Affinity Photo or Darkroom or both? Thanks again :)
@@CreativeGoodman I would like tutorials on affinity2 for iPad.
Thanks, I’ll add that to my to do list :)
@andrew I have watched your videos from Australia and I have learned so much . I also use a iPad pro12.9 with the apple pen on Affinty v2
@@CreativeGoodman raw astrophotography using affinity Photo 2 iPad. 🙏
Hi - I have an Ipad Pro 11 inch - just got it a few months ago (March 2024) so I believe its the 2022 with an M2 chip. I wasn't able to access a photo from the Photos App by drag and drop (it let me "open" photos - but no photos appeared when I dragged it up onto the right of my screen) - how disappointing! I was excited when I saw you drag and drop. Is there some setting I need to change somewhere to allow this? I can use the OPEN DOCUMENT with a USBC card reader with card inserted. Seems to be the only way to access raw images to "edit". I cannot access my Icloud drive and see photos on the ipad either. I am thinking this is a security feature.
You just taught me how to use the RAW edit in any program, wow
Great tutorial, thanks! I would love to see a video on how to add someone into a photo if possible please! :)
Thanks Amber and over the moon to read this request from you as something is coming 👀 :)
@@CreativeGoodman brilliant, looking forward to it, thanks for the reply! :)
Heey!!! Great tutorials! I’m a begginer and I can’t wait for your course. When u gonna launch it?
Thanks so much Ovidiu! Both courses will launch in November, currently working hard on them :)
Many thanks for the tutorial, it is very helpful as always. Maybe you can answer my question: Is it possible to save the settings and transfer them to other raw photos (like look-templates)? Best regards from Germany!
My bro I’m really struggling to find the answer to the same exact question. I was so used to Photoshop RAW editing on desktop that now that my only computer is my iPad I’m bummed by this. Have you found something?
Hi Andrew, I have an 11inch 2020 iPad Pro and am able to import RAW photos into Affinity Photo 2 using the method you demonstrated
Bro your videos help me so much thanks
Thank you.
Amazing video thank you so much
Perfect timing as always! Just when I needed a tutorial on RAW files in Affinity you’ve just uploaded a good un! A more detailed look at the RAW persona would be great too. Can’t comment on the import puzzle as such. I have the same iPad as you but I store all my photos on an external SSD and import RAW files from there into the RAW persona. Not a big fan of iCloud. I don’t know if it’s just me but I find it very frustrating to use. Can never quite seem to get the hang of it.
Update- So I decided to upload a RAW file to iCloud to see what would happen if I downloaded it to Affinity Photo. When I finally found it in amongst the clutter, I know, it’s my own fault for not sorting out my iCloud but I just can’t face it!… anyway back on topic the RAW file opened up as a a RAW file without any hiccups. I wish I could tell you what I’m doing right Andrew since we’re both using the same iPad model but I don’t have a clue as to why it’s not working on yours.
How can I cut a picture into two parts in affinity photo so that I can only move half of the picture? I can’t find the “knife” or “blade” tool. Tell me please. Thank you
You should open several RAW photos at the same time, because normally photographers edit tens and hundreds RAWs from one photoshooting and they can't spend a lot of time on opening only one photo and then next one, and then open again etc. From this video I cant really understand can Affinity on IPAD replace Lightroom, Adobe Camera Raw and Capture One on PC...
You can use a shortcut to avoid this issue on opening raw files
Er... My ipad Mini 6 64gb opens RAWs even 80mp Olympus raws..😮
Is there anything anywhere justifying this seemingly ridiculous limitation for non-M1/M2 iPads?
