Bare with me here: When so many of the same type of failures happen at the hands of the same type of people running stuff like this. Having normal people have to result to basic pattern recognition to understand it’s gonna suck. She had no hand in the dev. The team partied in the normal part of Ukraine, and took a vacation too. They ran out of time and just shipped it. This game needed one more year. Nothing works, it’s just a pretty game with fun shooting and a story you want to see through if you either like the setting or know the other games. -no optimization -no economy thought -cover doesn’t work -AI shooting with 95% accuracy -Stealth is nonsense -spawns (A-Life or not) unacceptable -spawns not working with other mechanics -quest triggers and script pathing -NPCs not having anything to say 90% of the time -Game is 80% until the 1/3 path choice, after it is 50% completed -Story board was not considered for minor choices. 90% of choices are not meaningful -PDA lacks NPC log, meaning A-Life was never going to work. -Base game: you will heal more than you reload a gun (shells included) -1 enemy human will never have a gun malfunction -enemy animals and mutants will not behave like animals or ferals when you are unreachable they know where to run to out of your view (this is artificial behavior meant to prevent any strategy) -you can do just fine with Skif’s PTM, super cool gun you get from crazy guy? Nah that’s just to make you go “oooo pretty” bc gamers are stupid to devs -the only hidden stuff is cashes, that have the same type of shit as human enemies (not tailored they just peppered them in a day around. -after the 1/2 mark, the game feels more empty than ever. -the NPCs will share names. A Life was supposed to give each faction a large list of names. One dies, another stalker enters the chat. If you go on a murder spree then you’d see repeats. Oh wait. They just did fallout 3 style random encounters, randomly in a 25m radius around Skif. -taking a big, hot steamy shit all over the name of the series, while OG devs are out getting fucking killed, while you lie, cheat, and steal, parting and going on vacation with family to make a game. That being said I love playing it and it’s captured me. Hopefully they do fix this shit since it is profitable. Hopefully a PS5 version will warrant or push a Definitive Edition Release with DLC and shit and all patches in a year or so for everyone and they can “upgrade or some shit.

Heads up, you can hold the A button to load up a mag. You can also remove the bullets from a mag too!

Extractions shooters suck. They have none of the long form gameplay of something like Dayz and they lack the faster pace of something like Battlefield. Honestly some of the worst games ever made.

Showdown would be the best game out if the playerbase stuck and I guess that’s just difficult to do on vr but they can’t just make a new game in an already existing game and expect people to start playing BR when they bought it for Exfil and on top of that they aren’t giving existing showdown players exfil for free?
