I was in the camp of early alpha players for Tabor, and I loved that game, but as it grew and got bigger, the community became more and more toxic, along with the entire companies motto of "trust no one" and not giving a shit about player complaints. And I get it, it's a PVP extraction shooter, but the community of a PVP game can make or break it, and this community in Tabor (being egged on by Scott) is really ruining it.
I listened to the CW dev in an interview the other day and i really enjoyed his opinions etc. He sounds like he aint no gamer dweeb like moist these days. I jumped on Tabor after it to have a run and not 1 second of gameplay was fun, its actually wild to me how bad it is compared to this game. I understand it was the 1st in this area but wow Exfil is better in every way .

Honestly, i havent played much of exfil zone because i mainly play tabor, but exfil zone is freakin awsome! The only thing i really want in exfil zone so far is a pve mode. One of the biggest reasons i love tabor is because of pve. I like to just throw some music on, and just kinda have a chill time. Also a reallly helpful way to learn mechanics and stuff. Its great to chill with some music as well as have a sense of progression. But so far, with everything ive seen of exfil zone, its amazing and i can't wait to see whats next for it!
First 2 games on new update were completely filled with bugs, my POV would teleport higher so I could barely even reach my gun, then when I grabbed things with my left hand they completely disappeared immediately, when the M. Whatever device disappeared it even kept the map open and in my face the entire match, both games I lost my contractor kits and it’s incredibly frustrating. I know I can get them back in scav raids easy but had it not been for the bugs I would’ve got out with a lot. Idk the chance of this happening because I was w/ a friend and he didn’t have the bugs but still quite annoying
Love this update and the new AUGs are really cool, although im struggling to see why they needed to add FOUR more Mosins to the game. I've only used the Mosin once for the bolt action kills quest and it was actual cheeks. Bolt actions just seem super inferior in this game at the moment. But never the less, the map rework is so sick and im loving how much work these devs are putting in to keep the game fresh and exciting
Bruh i remember seeing demos of this game going "cant wait for this to come out on 3 years, hopefully they keep half the content im seeing" and it was like a couple months later this released with all the stuff we saw in trailers plus more PLUS regular content updates PLUS bug fixes, holy shit did this game take tabors lunch money. Only thing tabor does better is 1. How easily you can mute and unmite your mic. 2. Sound occlusion is alot better so you know distance and location by ear. 3. Auto sprint which is currently the only reason im not playing showdown (im not spending $200 on a controller when every other game has solved this already) Literally EVERYTHING else is better in showdown. Graphics, physics, looting, shooting, setting up a load out, buying from traders, etc.
you were cooking for the whole video up until the modular weapons. in tarkov you couldn't mod weapons in raid, all they have to do is give you 'weapon workshop bench' in the hideout and let assemble the guns in there. on the bench it could allow you to swap out parts without having to worry about taking off your gas block instead of grabbing your foregrip in raid because the controls would be different when accessing the bench. i def think it needs the system because it allow weapons like the hunter and the fal to instead of being shit weapons you can't mod into meta bugdget builds. with the hunter you can put scopes on the rails, but in tarkov you could change out the barrel/gas block to not have the front sights in scope. guns that didn't have front rails can be upgraded and etc, also gives us something to do while we wait for raid
i was really looking forward to PS and SNB ammo, but i feel like LPS is the better option and just go for headshots. i think at best you can 3 tap a chest with snb, but if you miss and hit an arm or stomach you'll be there for a while, so rather than pay 10+ a stack or give up gun oil, i suggest lps with pu or infantry. i was a mosin man in tarkov, i'm still trying to make it work in exfil. Also, inf and pu sniper have the good ironsights don't use the 1887
I dont know if u mentioned it but r these guns coming to br itd be so cool to not have to grind out all the traders and just be able to use them casually

Idk about anyone else but the guns feel super stiff to me. First game on today and it was almost impossible to tilt my gun downwards while ADSing (like tilting the weapon slightly downward)
Ehhh.. I kinda disagree, I would love to see the complexity of gun motifications that Tarkov has. Yes, some players don't enjoy it and will just repeat a build over and over, but I know a lot who play Tarkov JUST for the ability to get really granular with the gun modifications. It's literally their biggest draw to the game and the thing I hear them praise the most. Personally, I enjoy it a lot but it's not my #1 thing.
So yeah they update just like Tabor. They have huge problem with game ceashing on win 11 in oculus pcvr version. It doesn't even start yet they do maps and other "improvements". Cmon you literally complain about tabor releasing shit and not fix issues. Both are in the same boat. When shit hits the fan and there is a problem thst needs fix it takes forever to get it fixed.

They have a cool feature for sprinting if you raise your gun in one hand you start running. Saves the controller. But you are right about all this.
