I'm tired of Ghost of Tabor, they always promise and ExfileZone in FASA ALPHA is already much better than Ghost of Tabor. They have no excuse, they are finished compared to the level of ExfileZone.
After playing Showdown exfilzone, I really feel like tabor just isn't as good at all. Im looking back on the last 8 months me and my friend have played the game and the game seems so simple now compared to exfilzone. Exfilzone is a TRUE tarkov in VR, and I hope they continue to develop it.

Ghost of Tabor is slowly driving away its player base. I stopped playing because the game was too grindy with minimal reward for gameplay and only rewarding those who have the time to grind this game so heavily. Not to mention the lack luster updates and only two new maps to boot for a years worth of development (I know they have night time versions of existing maps, I don't count that as "new"). Caveman already had a good weapon system already existing, allowing them to go more into other aspects. Also, the only things people are saying are way better is just more features ripped from EFT.

The maps are better. The core mechanics are more fleshed out. My question is... What the fuck are the Tabor developers doing? Making new maps nobody wants while pretending all the jank doesnt exist and shitting on the community for trying to report the bugs?
@ they definitely had more to work with but they had more because they worked more. Showdown and Tabor both officially launched last year. While tabor has been calling every issue with their game a “skill issue” showdown has made map improvements to the base game and developed a more feature rich Tarkov clone than Tabor. Their a studio a third the size of combat waffle, this games existence marks the end of Tabor aside from some kids who can’t understand the advanced mechanics of exfilzone.

It isnt training. Its regular raids, just by yourself or with a friend. You still have a separate account to level up and unlock tiers. None of your pve progress goes towards online.

Finally a competent update, I’ll never like CWS as a studio, but I still used to enjoy the game, and hoping I will again after this update. Still has some really mid additions, only a few of them are actual additions, they need to stop adding random stuff like skins and bunker cat. The final big update they need to make the game 10x better is changing the armor to have a base damage reduction, as it’s just objectively better designed like that.
after seeing ExfilZone and now that the trailer for the update released it feels dissapointing to me, (will see what the patch note says) 1 new map (that's cool) 1 weapon only? after 5 months? The one shot energy skins aren't a completely new dlc, people who already have used the code for the m4 skin will get the other ones free, and using the code on the box will give you all 3 of them

(there is some really good stuff that is needed in there too though). But their discord community is like a herd of sheep. @TacIsRat lol naw they definitely ain't the worst, but I get some people have a problem with combat waffles massive gas lighting, my issue with them is that they outwardly stated in an interview they purposely don't update the game until long intervals to keep the game from getting stale, that's the opposite of what you should do lol that's how you let other companies catch up and out do your project right now exfilzone is living proof of that, but in all honesty I'm glad it's arrived to help put these studios on the right path you know! That's how we as VR players get the best results. So it's a win for us regardless of what anyone says.
