I too ride a tiger! My favorite bike! 900 Rally Pro! I just ordered this helmet. And I live in Florida! Just got off the I-95/ 75 out of South Florida. Those highways are balls to the wall.
the ride to and from florida is a chore lol
@ you aren’t kidding. But once you get south of Naples and get near the glades it’s nice, if you hit the east part of Florida it gets serious AF! Let me know next time you want to come down. I live in Tallahassee, meet here and I’m down to hit SFLO with you and I know people throughout all the way to Key west!
@@Charliano700 ill put it on my list for 2025!
I consider many of the popular motorcycle UA-cam channels in the States lame. Especially the 'professional reviewers' that give a 'review' after being given or loaned something and having an hour experience. That's like those stupid 'unboxing' videos. Doodle is refreshing and like you said, so relatable what lifetime motorcyclists have experienced, or beginners are experiencing.
its a good place for her too, cause as she grows, she can share that real experience as lessons in what to, and not, to do as you are learning.
I like how the camera just follow your head/eyes
when you cant afford a camera man, let technology do it for ya! lol
I love doodle too. I wish I could meet her in real life and go for a ride. She looks like an amazing person to hang out with and she seems to always be having fun even when things aren't going so good for her
It's amazing how easy some things are if you just try them. But I have yet to embrace valve clearance checks.
@@ScramblerStories I did it on the bolt, but that was a dead simple bike. I dare not take the top off the tiger lol
Easy peasy, cheaper maintenance bigger beauner
More bucks for beauners!
Nice to see you are still kicking. Looks like you put the master link clip on backwards though. You want the closed end to be pointed towards the direction of travel for the chain.
i'll check it in the am, but i was certain i put it on with the opening aft, but it was a hot one that day, so i may have flubbed it. good looking out

Is that a ZumoXT2 you have mounted on your bike?
@@kee7678 it’s the first zumo. Haven’t pulled the trigger yet on the 2
@@YankiRides It looks good there. I bought the new rugged Samsung Active5 tablet...and loaded all the off road/Nav apps etc..and downloaded movies etc for moto camping....BUT, I cant figure out a way to get the thing mounted well. Been trying to figure it out for 5 mths and still no good solutions that work.
@ yea, I thought about going with something a bit outside the norm, but the mounting is what sold me on the zumo
@@YankiRides I totally get that. There a 2 or 3 guys on ADVrider forum who fabricated / frakensteined a mount for theirs. Anyway I LOVE my Tiger 900 RP amnd went with same Outback Motortek protection like yours. ..Big top case and mosko moto bags.... Baja bound soon! Love your vids man!
I’m going to need a flamingo gang sticker soon….!
Oh I have used these boots since the first ones called the H2O waterproof boots. Along with these I Ouse Mobius X8 knee an shin guards. Now, the X8s fit to these boots like a glove too. Have not looked back. Awsome boots.❤❤❤🏍️🏍️🎃🎃🙏🙏👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧💎💎
Yea I have had some issues shopping for braces with these myself. Gonna have to look those up
@@YankiRides I swear by them . I’ve seen a fellow biker get a metal pole through the gap on his Leats. Not too bad, I had some super glue to seal the cut an stop the blood but, I was so glad I had Mobius bcs the pole or a branch , would just glance off. Needless to say, Stewart gave me a call two weeks later with bruises an all clear on knee probs. Appy to hear. But he had a few quid an bought one Mobius for the cut leg, compared the two an saved up for the other one. I saw him around April time an he’s like me, a solid convert. Boot an brace combo is easy, rock solid an won’t change any time soon. 🙏🙏🏍️🏍️👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧💯💯
Yup! Pavlin road across Russia last yr on a T7 an on his say so Revitt changed the design for the better including gettin them on an off! The first gen were a Mare for that! Also they have widened the toe box an fit by 5mm for 2024 so they are great for wide feet an long days on the pegs. Improved the grip on the sole too but, could be better??? That’s the only gripe. ❤❤❤🏍️🏍️🎃🎃🙏🙏👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧💎💎👌👌
The sole days non slip material. Could be a little non-slippier for my taste lol
Still wearing a 950. Looked to upgrade to the 9000 but the lack of internal visor killed it for me.
The drop down is such a good thing to have. No idea why they didn’t bring it over from the eu model
@YankiRides Agreed. I won't wear a helmet that doesn't have one, now. I LOVE AGV lids (have 2 limited edition Ross's and 2 Horizons) but I don't wear them anymore because no sun visor.
Hey there I've been looking to get my self a bike helm recently and stumbled upon Ruroc I've done abit of research with all the controversy going on with their helms but i want to ask you cause you seem genuine in this review. Should i go for the EOX or the 4.0 which do you think is the best?
@@miltosevaggelou7323 I haven’t put my hands on one yet, but given their history, I would say it’s a safer bet going with a different brand that ruroc. Value for money, get a scorpion helmet.
I have the Scorpion EXO-AT950, and I love it.
It’s still my go to for road trips and day trips. The 9000 is miles better for off road usage I find
I've owned two atlas 4.0s. I love the helmet, integrated BT and style are awesome, however they do have quality issues. I've had to glue the liner that goes along the bottom edge back on a couples spots on one and yeah they can be a little noisy. Not as much that it warrants as much crying as I hear about it. I've never had a comfort issue or a safety issue with either. Claiming they are unsafe is a joke at this point since they are rated. I think the price point without a sale is a bit much since they do have quality issues...but they also always have sales. My main gripe with the Eox is two versions of the shockwave so they can upcharge you for coms. Beyond that I want to pick one up once they have one in a color I actually want.
I was a little disappointed in the eox , as I was expecting something new and fresh. From what I have seen, they are having similar QA problems with the new lids. Would have loved for it to be a dual sport helmet lol
Gas tank capacity blows, if only hold more gasoline
@@rubensoto-2749 yea, it sucks for long trips for that reason. Stopping so often. Never really noticed in town though, which is where this bike shined.
Seriously guys, you are getting free entertainment - would it kill you to hit the like button? 1000 views and only 60 likes, that's just rude! Your boy is trying to give you the best advice he can. p.s. I also run cardo and I agree, they are great.
lol I’m just happy to be here man! lol. I love the hype!
Gotta Love the Doodle Girl. She's honest, she knows what she knows and never claims to know what she hasn't experienced. Plus her content is actually HER experiences. Not theory, Not a factory promo, Not an advertising spin. Love the Doodle!!
I choked when she almost "bedazzled" her new Blue bike into the Red version she really wanted.
Nice review. Thought about buying one but unfortunately motorcycles are not that cheap where I live. A new Tiger 900 Rally Pro is above 20k USD. You pay around 13k USD for a 4 year old model with 15k miles. I would get a brand new V-Strom 800 DE for that. Oh and I would love to see time stamps in your video :)
That 800 is a nice bike. I love the tiger, but I don’t think I would have gotten it if I hadn’t gotten a little discount on account that it was a demo fleet bike.
Also, I try and timestamp videos as often as I remember, though I tend to not remember until like a week or two later, but I am trying to get better about it
Right now..2023 Tigers are selling for 12K, with 4k miles....Steal of a deal.
You won’t find any patents on their adv luggage because they don’t have any. They have stolen design elements from MM. they are giving a good deal on these bags because they have no research and development to pay for. Also their customer service is pretty much non existent. I’ll pass on blatant copying of small companies products.
That’s a totally fair take. Don’t blame ya. Like I said, each person gets to make their own decision on that.
"Theyre half the price of the competitors!" *Rhinowalk Enters The Chat*
@@Kyle-zy7ny a little cautious of a$50 bag from temu to be honest lol
Not sure why a look alike is weird. It’s the same in every industry.
@@Adventure_blac I feel the same way, personally, but some people are weird about stuff like that. Now I would feel differently if it was named the same or used promotional material that was intentionally misleading people into thinking they were the other brand, but it’s not so they are all good as far as I’m concerned 👍
@@YankiRides for sure. I think it’s a lot of other country hate. Even though Al ostensibly nothing is made in the US. If it is it’s offensively pricey and or made with parts/materials from that country anyway. As long as the product is as it says I don’t much care where it’s made.
@@Adventure_blac we need more people like you👍😃

5:45 D is short for Denier. It is the thickness of individual strands used in your material. The higher the "D" rating would mean stiffer and thicker. It is not about weather reistance. It is how durable something is overall.
I stand corrected. Not sure where I read it, but you are correct.
I brought some of their adventure luggage this summer . The quality is good but the customer service is haphazard at best. Delivery took weeks, then items were missing from the order. Was promised they'd be sent. A month later they sent out a package. But it contained the wrong missing parts and now I'm chasing ghosts to get it resolved. Good products let down by silly mistakes.
@@pauljames1762 yea. The instructions weren’t complete when I got them, and it took a week to get them updated.
🙂
Those are CLEARLY '6' hooks dude 🙄
😂🤣 I stand corrected. I recorded this upside down 🙃
Those look pretty dope
I do like the look of em. Price is nice too lol
You probably saw, I checked out the tank bag from their adv line. It was the H2O one, but that part was useless. Otherwise, the rest of it is pretty good and i still got the bag strapped to my bike! Made it on the eclipse trip and ready for SmortCon!
Seems solid enough. Time will tell lol
No sun shield for North America is a hard no for me! Have been watching videos and yours was the first one to point that out, thanks! I guess I’ll get another AT950.
Yea that’s was super bummed, cause other than that the helmet is perfect for me.
Bags look like a solid set up and the mounts. 🤌🏾 Viking has come a good distance in their quality.
@@BrandonBicasso i had a swingarm bag from the for years on the Bolt. Was worn tf out but was still standing strong when I sold it. We will see if the adv bags do as well
not that important of course but there was a slight conversion error; 173 cm is indeed 5,68 ft, however 5 ft and 7 inches is not 173 cm, it's 170,18 cm
LOL, cut the american some slack, im not used to metric
Does the pump system really work and make it quieter or is it just a gimmick?
@@sgtshak2806 it actually does help. This is the second helmet I’ve had with the system and I noticed in both a marked difference in noise with it pumped up. Plus the way it snugs up on the cheeks helps distribute the weight a little better
Boots look good. But for $1200. Here. They would want to last at least 6 years without a single fault. They would want to hold up really well on single track, but looking at them they would flex to much if they got hit front on in the toe area. So yeah definitely not worth the $ 1200.
@@holden3083 I can tell you first hand, there is no flex. They have been on serious singles, and through flat track racing, and these things are just as solid as the day I took them out of the box. That being said, it’s a lot of money, and I couldn’t spend it. But they are the best boots I’ve used.
How much of the GAT is off-road?
@@joshuagmain I’d say like 75-80 of it is off-road. Give or take

Looks like y’all had fun. I am a dual sport fanboy. But I’m not an ADV hater at all. Dual sports just fit my lifestyle more. I work long hours at a hospital that’s always short staffed so I rarely take time off. And I’ve got a wife and 3 kids waiting for daddy to come home, so I don’t currently need the ability to take long highway trips. But maybe when I retire and the kids are off at college I’ll buy an ADV.
I have all the time in the world and I still wish I took more time for trips like this. I always enjoy them but scheduling the time for it is a pain for sure.
As a 5'3" dude, i habe always been nervous about throwing my leg over anything that stood taller than 28", but finale got the gumption to try out 31". It was a 250, so light, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought!

Why are you still using a chin mount when a 360 x4 is far superior
@@jasongardner1910 I think the osmo action 4 is a stellar cam and it suits my needs. I don’t like the post processing pipeline of instas products
Yes. You nailed it.
Excellent
Oh my gosh that sand would be tricky. Curious to know how many times you dropped it? I dropped my bike once on my foot and the handlebar landed on the MTP joint of my big toe and it felt sprained for about two months after that. Hopefully your ankle heals up fast.
Total of three times in that trip. 2 of them were on that ankle. Foot is still a little sore, even a month after, but it is mostly ok now. If it t weren’t for the torsional protection of my boots, I’m sure something much worse would have gone down
That 's my boots! Love em. I bought mine from a European company, shipped to USA for less than $600.
They saved my foot on a recent trip!
I bet if you loosened up your grip in the sand and let your handlebars lead the way you would make better progress! Enjoying your adventures!
I’ll file that under the skills part of my lesson for next time lmao
As always, your editing skills are top notch!
I appreciate that!
