Fuck that sand.. we will pick it back up in Macon next time. Whistle Stop Cafe in Juliette, GA opens at 11am.. we'll want to be there around 10:30 or so
Rode sand in FL pan handle on my FZ-07. Definitely don't want to do it again, but it did make me realize my next bike was going to be an ADV bike (23 Tiger 900 RP)
I'm in my late 50s and have lived by one rule. Never, ever give up. No matter how painful it is you don't stop moving forward. This rule has almost killed me twice but I made it. Life is too short to " come back to it later ". That's just how I live and it takes a lot of effort. Sprained ankle, blown out shoulder, or dislocated finger it doesn't matter, keep going. I have always remembered this quote from a movie. “Your "best"! Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and fuck the prom queen.” ― Sean Connery Everyone is different, I get that but when you question yourself remember, you can accomplish the most difficult things if you set you mind and body to it. You made a UA-cam channel that kicks ass! I have made changes to my riding for the better because of your guidance. Don't ever give up keep going no matter how painful it is.
Damn dude.. that sounds pretty hardcore. I like being able to walk around on my own volition though. If you are okay with beating yourself up.. then you do you boo. It would take us 1.5 hours to pick this route back up in Macon.. this isn't some kind of "once in a lifetime" event. Even if we wanted to start the whole trip over from the start.. we could be in Florida in like 5 hours.
Oh my gosh that sand would be tricky. Curious to know how many times you dropped it? I dropped my bike once on my foot and the handlebar landed on the MTP joint of my big toe and it felt sprained for about two months after that. Hopefully your ankle heals up fast.
Total of three times in that trip. 2 of them were on that ankle. Foot is still a little sore, even a month after, but it is mostly ok now. If it t weren’t for the torsional protection of my boots, I’m sure something much worse would have gone down
We don’t wanna get too much of it on us 😂
Literally enough time to say the intro, then we out. Spoiler…. I got a bunch on me lmao
As always, your editing skills are top notch!
I appreciate that!
5:41 ol Dong backing Dat Ass up lol

@@chrissturgeon8455 sand is literally the worst lol.
Good choice on BOTH bikes!
I bet if you loosened up your grip in the sand and let your handlebars lead the way you would make better progress! Enjoying your adventures!
I’ll file that under the skills part of my lesson for next time lmao
First!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope that foot feels better 😮
a month later and it still hurts a little lmao

A bit more aggressive tires would make this a lot more pleasurable ride
Agree. Looking at options now lol
I live in AZ and it's all sand and I swear by these. Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross AX41 Tires
