1885 Rock Carving by Lantern Light
Переглядів 7612 місяці тому
Henry Church walked through the woods at night with a lantern to carve beautiful images on a huge rock. By lantern light he carved an Indian maiden, a papoose, a giant snake, a skeleton, an American flag, a quiver and arrows and many other marvelous things. These carvings are very well done, are accessible to the public by way of a short trail along the Chagrin River near Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

(Illinois) Smaller pieces of what looks like the same material (as the larger I found) is attractive to a strong magnet. Both sizes are black inside. Not sure if it's as glassy as slag. I can't believe you didn't have spectacular results. The Blue Jays hang upside down off of branch titmouse climb up the tree chickadees go nuts and woodpeckers go absolutely insane for it. I tried another peanut butter mix which is mixed with suet and it's smoother the texture is not the same but the birds prefer this bark butter.
