This Field Is a Beach!

Instead of driving 50 miles to a beach I drove 2 miles to a field that looks like a beach. I am finding lots of amazing quartz, conglomerates, granite, flint, chert, sandstone, fossils and more in a field. There are so many rocks from glaciers that I could look a lifetime in one field. lol. That is nice to find so many rocks in a field. Is there a source of water near by, such as a lake, river or pond. If so I bet they would also be fun to rock hunt. Great finds 😊

This area has quite a few reservoirs and the rocks are everywhere as you walk along the hiking trails. Thanks for watching and for the comment.
