Good guide. I would add pretty much all the economy units are usually good to have. The end of turn get a choose one / murloc / tavern spell etc etc. pairs well with drakari / light fang.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Saloon Dancer. Works pretty well with both One Amalgam Tour Group and Charging Czarina

This patch is complete bullshit. Idk how people are finding this fun. Every game the tavern rng completely fucks me over. Cant find a triple to save my life, and if i choose a tribe ill never see the anchor cards even when im the solo player of that tribe yet the 6 players that are beast all have golden bullshit

Is it worth using the summon spells for an extra buff? Had some joy with the 2 beetles, but haven't tried the venom start of combat one as I'm not sure how it would work.

Mechanics question: if Mechs and Undead are both in the lobby are there twice as many prosthetic hands or do both tribes fight over the limited number? I've been doing terribly with undead and it just feels like a consistency issue. Either I get the army buff but no reborn or I can't find army buff.

Undead's been my fav for a while so I'll be definitely playing them big time again this season

Awesome possum, loving this. I have been trying undead, I swear it is impossible to find abomination. In matches where I'm uncontested, I just cannot find it. I almost aways find the catacomb crasher. I wish it was me being crazy, but even the buddy I duo with notices it.

Patch 31.2.2 Changes These changes greatly increase the power of Naga now making Tier 2 Naga build extremely doable. Stay on TIer 2. Get Thaumaturgist gold. Get multiple golden Zesty Shaker's. Get 2 Lava Lurkers. Destroy your lobby. Thaumaturgist changed Stats to a 2/2 -Still good stats of the minon are not why we want him it is their spellcraft. Critter Wrangler Is now a 4/6 Whenever you cast a spell on a minion give it +2/+2. -Less stats but still very good. Zesty Shaker is now TIER 2 , and a 3/4 stat line. -AMAZING change. Arcane Cannoneer is now 2/6. Whenever this attacks, deal 2 damage to the target. (Improved by every 4 spells you’ve cast this game!) The damage improves by 2 damage each time. -Good change

Patch 31.2.2 Changes Sprightly Scarab is now [Tier 4] 3/2. Choose One - Give a Beast +2/+2 and Reborn; or +5/+5 and Taunt. - Same use still good just less in the pool Sly Raptor has changed to [Tier 3] 1/2. Deathrattle: Summon a random Beast. Set its stats to 5/5. - Still good just a wee bit less stats, but you find more of then more often. Karmic Chameleon is now Tier 5 -Same use, but feels bad to triple into at 5 Goldrinn is now 4/4. Deathrattle: For the rest of this combat, your Beasts have +4/+4. -Same use just they are better now! Ghoul-acabra is now 4/11. After a friendly Deathrattle minion dies, give your minions +2/+2 permanently. -Same if you have to use it just better now. Still a minion you do not want if you can help. Mutated Lasher is now 9/3. Deathrattle: For the rest of this combat, your odd-Tier minions have +3/+3. -Same, but now better. These changes over all leave beasts in a good position, and over all good fun to play.

Bedrock was nerfed probably because of the baller build.

only playing because of HS BG. Slowely getting more fun, do mis the trinkets. I love that they can save your hand if you are really unlucky with your rolls

I feel like pirates needed a buff, and that nagas didn't really get any improvements in the way of late game scaling. I don't think mecha have been nerfed enough for anything else to be viable in a mech lobby

No beetle changes? Maybe im just bad but thats the most OP deck for me, I beat quillbor or dragons all the time. However, a fully built beetle deck is unstoppable.

I feel like the only way to make the arcane cannonier a playable card is to give it cleave.On the shot. I feel like you need to play with the chameleon more because that minion is insanely powerful.

Tier 2 nagas is definitely a comp now, just finished second in a game with 2 lava lurkers at 1200 ish attack and defence. Board was 2 golden lava lurkers, 2 golden zesty, 3 taunted golden thurmaguys

The Holy Mecherel will very likely be a buff in disguise. Discovering tier 6 minions is much more prevalent than 5. It’s why you’ll often see a plain brann or enchanter but a golden young murkeye.

I've never found an arcane cannoneer yet... never discovered one, never had one show up in the tavern, never got one randomly. I've played against players who got them, but for some reason I just cant get one myself. That said, with no seasonal mechanic beyond hero re-rolling, This is not a fun season for me.

Terrible changes. Whats the fun of BG if we can’t high roll like ridiculously? No self buffing night banes. No crazy end of turn battle cries. I want unlimited power!!!

Battlegrounds is honestly the only reason I'm playing Hearthstone now. I've played since Beta, played pretty hardcore for a while but now Standard and Wild are just not fun at all. I play a little bit of standard just to try out decks here and there, but I mainly just play Battlegrounds now. Battlegrounds just feels somewhat balanced, and so much more fun than anything else. Ranked is just plain annoying and Arena just sucks unless you pull like Death Knight or Mage with endless spells. I do however miss the trinkets from last season because that did make things unique so I do hope they end up bringing those back sometime.

I wish they buffed Millificent Manastorm (Tinker) so it gives the attack to magnetize mech you play also instead of the +1, cause still don't feel like she is worth picking now.

Battlegrounds is fun and every month I just try to push to legend in standard as fast as possible and then just play battlegrounds. I don’t care about tokens I’ve used some I don’t think they help a player of my skill level (low). But overall im okay with these changes

obviously when you're using the new comps to their fullest potential, you hate to see all these nerfs. Pretty sure Nightbane won't be playable at all anymore. You get it so late in the game already. So now you get it super late, then you have to buff it, then you have to not be able to stack the buff. Blizzard just can't stand when a card is good. Bedrock is massively nerfed but definitely still usable. You're still going to see people take it. Big Brother is easier to find but you STILL don't want him till you have a Batty Terrorguard + Malchezaar + Archimonde. Archimonde nerf is really disappointing. By 'can still be reduced to 0' they mean spend 3 gold to buy the T1 demon naga that reduces spell cost. So you can make a 2 cost spell cost 0 by getting an Archimonde discount and spending 3 gold on a bad minion late game. So you can make a 2 cost spell cost 0 if you spend 3 gold.... Blizz you make the worst changes that nobody asked for. And even worse they claimed demons are underperforming so they want to 'buff' them. I hate when something in BGs says 'but not less than 0'. It ruins whatever card they think they're fixing. Naga T2 is going to be a new OP comp that gets nerfed. Glad to see it but the wise guys at Blizz are gonna nerf it and act like they didn't just create a problem. These guys have zero idea how to balance. Undead gonna be viable, Quill gonna slightly underperform, Demons going to on average be better, but not by much. Naga gonna be the best tribe for a little bit till zesty gets moved back. Also didn't mention it but you die insanely fast and lose so easily in duos unless you highroll. Now a lot of heroes get less armor... so you die even faster. Blizz literally hasn't playtested duos. It's not too much armor we're suffering from. It's everyone staying low and playing way too safe so late game builds often are unplayable cause you're dead on turn 10. Now you're dead on turn 9. Blizz fixes 1 comp to ruin everything else they touch. Lovely

I feel like giving Arcane Cannoneer a semi-cleave effect like wildfire elemental might help it, that way it could clear two chaff minions if its damage was high enough. I think especially against Merloc venom boards it might be decent with that. Also Murk-eye might not be healthy for balance but he enables so many fun strategies that I hope he never leaves, he makes up for having to play against venom in merlock lobbies.

I am surprised that Beetles are untouched. I personally think that Beetles are, at times, surpassing even Quillboar comps - really thought they would hit Progenitor to avenge 5. Also shame that Big Brother is still only EoT. I rather would have him bumped up to 5, but have the buff be permanent. Not surprised Murk Eye got hit - but more surprised that they didn't simply restrict it to Murlocs only.

I don't understand how they changed it to that regular murkeye only triggers one battlecry like they did with metalhead but regular blade collector still hits both
