Clearly he didn’t read the manual because the Romeo has 8 settings. Not 12. So he was literally at like 1 or 2 thinking he was at 5 wondering why he could barely see the dot…

I know this is an older video. Not sure when the change was made but now the non pro versions have a more "robust" unlock button. The pro models still have the thinner button that seems to stick out a touch more.

I have a question. I bought a new battery for my Z4 and getting ready to replace it. The screen is in excellent condition. When I take it apart should I leave the bezel connected to the screen or to the phone itself?

For the money the Sight Mark Wolverine is Amazing. It is built like a tank. Motion activated 50,000 Hour run time on a single AA Battery and a lifetime warranty all for $100.00 bucks. This is my choice all day. The Sig Sauer Romeo 7 is also amazing, but it is big. 62,500 hours of continuous use on a single AA battery on medium setting. Motion activated. 2 MOA dot comes with a high mount and a low mount and just $200.00 perfection on an AR. I like the AA Battery aspect because in a SHTF situation AA battery can be found just about anywhere.

One difference between this reticle and the ACSS reticle is the ACSS has a chevron in the center rather than a dot.

Thanks for this rundown! Also excellent note on the mounts. I was just assuming the factory mount would be good but no recoil lug on an AR is clearly a weak point. Maybe you could post some links to the mounts with the right footprint for these optics that you like in the comments? There are like a million options out there and it's hard to choose. I will check out the reptilia brand you mentioned for sure.

Dude, bolt catch gets just as much use as the charging handle. Run it and keep a back up.

Some Loctite will dissolve certain plastics. I ruined some ABS motorcycle faring parts before I knew that.

The black follower (its version of it) for the 30-rounders gave problems, but a follower in a straight-body 20rd magazine is REQUIRED to tilt. Whether it is with the cast aluminum or magnesium (metal) follower or the black plastic ones, nothing has ever outperformed the original aluminum straight-body 20rd magazine, the first of which were even stamped "ArmaLite" on the floorplate.

Does the gen 2 Romeo5 have a better mount?

Shake Awake for me is game changer. Cant consider Holosun for that reason.

I just bought the new 995 High Point 9 mm carbine and took the iron sites off the back left front iron scope on one on and I bought the Romeo five and put that on the amount of it and pretty impressed with it. I’ve been using had no problems I bought a aftermarket clip and, had a problem running home defense shells so I don’t know if it’s a clip or what
