Got the slims and they have been great. Fit under my magnifier with ease. Can't justify spending 2 hundo on buis, think thats a ripoff. But 30 or 40 is reasonable. They just back ups, and the UTGs do the job just as good. They are far superior to the polymer magpuls, those are junk.
I literally just swapped out my order to this one because of this video. Had no flippin' idea UTG has a made in the USA version... and in matte. Same price too! Thank you, good sir for this excellent review. Bravo, UTG.
I know this is an older video. Not sure when the change was made but now the non pro versions have a more "robust" unlock button. The pro models still have the thinner button that seems to stick out a touch more.
I was kind of forced to go with a taller Aim Sport MT034 front sight made for my lower setting quad picatinny gas block. By forced, I mean it was the only picatinny gas block style I could find rated good that also wasn't absurdly expensive. But its matching rear one would not have come close to clearing my magnifier. So I set out to find a similar working and looking rear site to hopefully match well enough. The UTG rear sights are of the same mechanism style but much lower profile and also rated very well for the price. I just couldn't figure out which UTG to go with since they seemed so similar. Shiny vs Matt is something I hadn't even considered in my quest to match the Aim Sport Thanks for saving me from the disappointment of ending up with one shiny and one mat. That compounded with slightly different styles probably would have nagged at me. And also for providing really quality video of how they look in person and to better gauge the pro's width (hard to do in 45 degree angle pictures). I'll be going with the Pro and I'm happy it's made in USA too. I had falsely assumed they both were.
Only correction i have for you is that the rotating ball bearing is actually ceramic, not nylon. At least i know it is on the pro, not 100 percent sure on the regular. Awesome video though, thanks for the comparison!
@taydinnygaard3678 just like the standard a2 front sights. One can use those sight post adjusters or I’ve used an ar 5.56 round to adjust it. Push down the pin and rotate a 1/4 turn until at desired point.

Glad I could help!
I was just looking for these BUIS. Good review.
Glad I could help! Optics planet and Amazon seem to have the best prices and availability on these.
I think I'm going to grab a pair now thanks man
Awesome! Glad the info was helpful! I’ve been very happy with them
Rather buy these made home than any other Gucci sight made from chineSium

@gabemooney5676 ah I see. Thank you for pointing that out and for watching!
How do you adjust the front sight post?
