It seems like they're set up for the same purpose. Full length rail. Heavy barrel profile. Even with different optics they're all magnified to some degree. Lots of accessories on the rail like lights, vfg, the plastic fillers on the handguard, buis. Big heavy unbalanced magnified. Not built to be carried. Built to be rested on a bench or a bi pod or it sits somewhere and you pick it up for a couple shots.

@timrobinson6573 ?? Yes 2 have a heavy barrel profile hence the Lpvo and 3-9. Can’t shoot what you can’t see, so every upper has a light. I note that I live in wide open spaces so having magnified to some degree is nice/good to have. Red dot/holographic gives me night vision capability. These also show what the average person would be getting as 16” barrel and full length rail.
If you can’t handle something like a standard m4, try working out.

I currently have a standard 16" barrel with Olight Warrior Mini and Aimpoint PRO. For me in my area, the red dot works well and is always on with brightness based on inside the home with Olight on to account for backsplash of light. I would like to get a magnifier in the 2x or 3x range. Still going back and forth on that. I don't have a real DMR type set up yet but I think it would be nice for coyote hunting or having a gas gun for some distant steel.
