I had 3 different Xbox 360 controllers with stick drift. 1 ps4 controller with stickdrift. And now my second ps5 controller. But to be honest I want raw Numbers for each generation.

I’ve had a ps5 since day one release . I’ve purchased about 6 controllers since then and i now need a new one. Idk if it’s stick drift when the sticks have a delayed style response but that’s what they end up doing each time

Were not even gonna talk about the weak ass signal receivers. Hell of a downgrade from ps4. I can't use my controller unless I'm less than 10ft away completely unobstructed. With ps4 I could have my ps4 in one room, take my controller to the bathroom and still use it flawlessly.

I’m not defending Microsoft because they have been getting progressively worse but I’ve warrantied probably 3 controller, one of them was an elite controller and a 360 way back with no issues from Microsoft support, one lady was super nice and apparently speed up the warranty process for me. Disappointing to see Sony screwing people, having a good warranty and customer support is a huge reason I’ve stayed with Xbox for so long.

My friends on PlayStation tell me, im just unlucky that all of my PS4 and PS5 controllers have stick drift. Worst of all, they think it's okay and acceptable to get controllers with stick drift. When I tell them Im switching to pc, they see it as a bad thing, sony ponies are sony meatriders. They don't care if games are horrible and cost $70 regularly and the yearly subscription now cost $70 a year minimum. I remember when PS3 and Xbox 360 game library were mostly smash hits, good games, good price, everything lasts so long, cheap price, controllers are super durable. Yet I'm told PS5 is the best console ever, the delusion is unreal. Forget Xbox, they are just selling it like apple would, if you have a pc get an Xbox, they said! Sony & Xbox are becoming woke and the games are immediate flops. Who remembers Concord, worst first party game in history. Nintendo, is the last chance, yet if you have mario or any Nintendo characters in not approved games, Nintendo will sue you, design a controller that looks like Nintendo, you get sued. Looks like pc and mobile gaming is the only way forward, console will become a niche thing in the market. I played on pc and console my whole life, and I don't see the next console releases being a mass success. However the last truly good console will be the steam deck or other gaming handhelds like the steam deck. Though not perfect, I can already see the shift, gaming handhelds will the be the last consoles to shake up the market. The Nintendo switch is a massive success and if my predictions are correct, it will outsell the PS2 in the future which was the best console of my lifetime.

And do you want to know a very fucking funny thing? where i bought i had 1 year until something was broken like the controler whatever..the controler was just fine! passes 1 year where i couldn't ask for any repairs..the controller suddenly starts to "break" L2 is bugging, The crosses doing whatever they want..and so i had to buy a new one..very good sony..very fucking good..

I played one game on my PS5 and had stick drift after. I just replaced the joysticks with TMR joysticks for a permanent fix instead of getting scammed.

Fuck sony and playstation. I currently won a ps5 at my compamies Christmas raffle and promptly sold it to some rando for additional cash to buy a new laptop. They can deal with this worthless company/console.

This game engine is too much. Graphics don't need to be this realistic. All these blades of grass and effects blur the image. Some games used UE4 very well, namely the later entries in the Sniper Elite series. However, these graphics make games too big.

i understand where this is coming from but thats not a strategic issue, it can be fixed within months if they put the effort

What are you guys doing to your controllers, mice and keyboards, I’m a avid gamers I have thousands of hours this year alone and I have never ran into issues with stick drift or my mice dying or keyboards failing, my controllers have lasted 2 years since the original purchase of my ps5, my ps3 hasn’t had stick drift in over 7 years, my mouse has lasted 5 years easily, and my keyboard has lasted 3 years only ne replaced for something that wound give me arthritis

Where you been the last 25 years? You cant replace a battery on a $1000 iphone, why expect to be able to replace sticks on a $40 controller

Simple, stop buying official. Stop buying defective products. Sue if things keep getting worse, and if need be, stop buying sony all together. Boycott 2 whole generations of consoles, and they'll die. Or send a clearer method, luigi did it.

This is why I do the warranty through the company I purchase from instead of Sony themselves because best buy lets me walk in with the controller and replace right then and there

I have no idea how people have problems with stick drift. I've owned tens of controllers and NEVER had an issue. they only time I have ever had a problem with a controller is after breaking it.

Never assume incompetence when a corporation can be greedy.

This sounds like it deserves to be spread around the internet and end up in a giant lawsuit against SONY. Might be the only way to force them out of this scam strategy...

Still have my controllers that I got with my ps5 like 4 years ago… no stick drift problems. I think you guys are the ones causing the stick drift

I agree with everything except the serial number part I think that’s important but also it really should be engraved into the devices plastic steam for example or rather valve requires serial numbers and they provide amazing warranty Experience in my opinion

When I get to controller #5 I start with the scummy routine of for all new controllers from that point forward is clean up Controller Number 5 as immaculate as humanly possibly the. Proceed to the nearest GameStop and buy the Same color controller and put the old controller into the new controller box and return it to GameStop and politely ask for a refund as the controller does not work

It's insane. Never had stick drift issue on any Xbox I have ever owned, 360, Xbox One, One S, Series X & S. Buy a PS5 and the damn thing crapped out barely 2½ months later. Fortunately the replacement hasn't had any issues and it's been a year now.

The PS5 has single handedly motivated me to move to PC gaming.
