Rebirth was a flop of boredom mixed with boredom and a trash story.

I think most of them *are* fun tbh. This one, however, is not.

Thing is it's not that they aren't fun it's the high scores, all of these courses require you to get a perfect score, and there are several other minigames throughout that need a perfect score, the problem is that it's not that difficult to be perfect at a minigame, but to be perfect at 20 different minigames ranging from shootouts, racing, obstacle courses, 3d brawlers, card games etc. its asking a LOT and when so many people want to "complete" the game it really becomes more of a chore than a fun time with so much to do and all of it requiring perfection or near enough. I just hope the main takeaway square get from this game for part 3 is "sometimes less is more".

Glad I'm not the only one! I only just reached Gongaga and a lot of these don't need to be in the game if they weren't part of the story, like the parade. This game is fkn awesome but they overdid it

Agreed, the controls are just awful and camera is shit. Very un fun unforgiving you make one mistake out the gate and are fucked.
When I decided I wanted to go for the plat, I dreaded the thought of even attempting the piano and gym crunches. Those were all easy compared to this cluncky bs chocobo game.
Heck. Not only was the piano simple once you get the hang of it but it was also fun!

Found a new way for the ending part. Once you go up for the "final" time to get the 300 and then to the finish, instead of letting go at a certain time just dive down again. You'll get an opportunity to go back up and it becomes practically unmissable.

Yeah I tried this method too in my try and error attempts but if I tried it in a perfect run I wasn't able to go up again

Took a couple tries but I finally got it with this method. If they were going to have minigames where you literally have to be perfect to finish them they should atleast program them right. I had at least 3 runs where I got everything, but because I flew through the top edge or bottom edge of the ring it didn't count. One time I literally hit the bottom of the 0 in one of the 500s and it still didn't count. So many of the minigames they deliberately programed badly to lengthen the game. This isn't a final fantasy game. It's a collection of minigames with a few story bits thrown in once in a while.
After doing the zig zig and getting the second 500 point ring you can just glide all the way back to the fan. There’s no need to try and snag that 300 then have to dive and barely make it under the fan in the tigger zone. It leaves you the 300 and two 500s to get in one dive but was consistently easier for me. Kudos to this video giving the idea for where to double back to have enough height for the second to last 500.
I spent an hour testing trying to get those last two circles I got them in the end but this video would of been helpful then I am gonna show this to my buddy's who haven't done it yet.

i finally did mine, at the mid hard part woth the 2x 500 and the 1 x 300 . you can get the 2 500s first then go back to the fan . get the 300 then go back again to the fan ( with nose dive for insurance) this one will produce higher success rate. and at the final dive you can go as high as you can then make sure you hit the float device/ drone . you can snatch the last 300 and your high enough for the last 2x 500s
Thank you so much! I was enjoying this mini game until this final one, it felt like I was doing everything right, but after 20+ attempts and always getting 9100 and missing that final one on top I really started to hate it. This method only took me 3 times to get it right.
This course was actually therapeutic to me after course 2.
I dive bombed again after getting the last 300 before two 500 rings, finally got the perfect score!

Great Do you have a step by step guide map for Chocobos in Gongaga and Cosmo Canyon Square made these regions navigation a lot more complicated than it needed to be. The map doesn't show u the path or where the Mushrooms and Glide or Launch Pads are and which way they go controlling the Cosmo Canyon Chocobos is annoying

For the last ring at 1:14, you can also wait for the 300 to disappear from your screen then stop holding the ascend button.

I don't get it. I'm way too high on the last 300 badge. Of cause i would reach the two last 500 but for that, i miss the last 300 because i fly beyond that.
How is your camera so far out? Mine is right up my chocobo's cloaca that I can't see what's ahead. Mine is constantly directly behind me while yours is hovering above. I've got camera zoom-out at 3 for out of battle but it doesn't change anything here
When gliding just hold R2 to glide, you don't need to constantly hold up to fly further. That way the camera is where it is in my video.

I'm not sure what it is that I'm doing wrong here, but I tried this technique myself. I reach the last 300 ring and touch the stars, but even while I hold up, I still miss the last 500 rings and get one of them.
Just wanted to comment to tell you don’t need to dive then ascend when you’re turning around for the extra lift. You can literally just glide normally over there.
I watched the video and it helped a lot - it made me decide to not do this ever and move on 👍🏻

I hit an invisible wall on the last 300 and can’t go up high enough
In germany we would say "ich küss dein Nacken". This is similar to a greater version of "thank you very much"
i was actually considering trying something like this after being thoroughly convinced you get high enough to get the last 2. Like i saw a video of someone doing it but he was extremely fucking lucky because he didnt even go through the top 500 circle, just knicked the edge and he got it. Ive knicked the top circle a dozen times and still never got it. Hell the very first dive bomb 500 ive literally went straight through the middle of the circle at times and somehow never got the pts

Why is ur camera so far away from the character? Im so close to the character i cant see a thing. Even with camera distance on 3 :/
Mine is also 3. When I'm gliding through the air I only hold R2, if you hold up on the analog buttons then it brings the camera closer. Holding up isn't needed.
No need to nose dive for the double back, just fly normally, will get you to the fan
These mini games made me legit put the game done for a week out of frustration. I just want to try and finish the game and get my money's worth. They went overkill on these unnecessary mini games
Hmm... This is actually not an easy method at all. I just did it without following tutorials and the main differences are:
1. I didn't go back to the last turbines for another boost. That's totally unnecessary.
2. When you do the last Glide to pick up the 300, hit the edge of it and as soon as you do, dive for another glide. That's it. Smooth and clean.

How are you snagging the last 300 it doesn’t make any sense. To maintain the required height to reach the final 500s you will fly WAY over the last 300 like you won’t even be close to touching it, how are you getting such a different height???
I only have to do this, Tifas final sit ups challenge and cait siths box throw challenge and ill have the platinum. But all 3 are horrible. Just like pretty much every other mini game. Frog jump, 3D brawler, cactuar crush in particular all sucked.. but these 3 are driving me insane.
This might have been a fun mini game if it did not require a perfect score to get rank 3 on all 3 courses
And F the dude who designed course 3, I think we are all getting stuck at the same spot, if they made the last 2 hoops a little bigger or a little closer, this would have been doable to beat within 15-30 mins

@@BetterThanYouAtVideoGames Many are not skippable, a lot of them are forced during the protorelic quest, others are forced during certain side quests, some during the main story, etc... And you need to do them all to complete the hotel. Also, many of them do actually give really good rewards.
I think most of the minigames are fun. This one is shit though.
I tried to like this mini game but it just constantly pussed me off how ridiculous it got
