I've been a huge fan of this project and been watching it grow from the beginning but if I'm being honest the only thing that's bothered me about it was the air intake for the motor being used as a drum sander can't be to good for the motor 😅

If you can make a faceting armature, or a performer for a decent price I would buy one. The faceting armature needs a cheater, and a depth gauge. I have several generic armatures that don't have the depth gauge. I just can't afford the $800.00 minimum for one right now.

Hey Sweetgum, this is truly amazing to watch, how the machine keeps growing. I have a question that I cannot find an answer. The nail drills that I own ( I have many) are all slightly different some are brushless and some are just different construction. I have long since wanted to put the same nose cone piece that you use or even the contra angle style that is similar to what you use on the end of your hand piece. So, what kind of hand piece do I need to make the type that you have? Is it an NSK style lower piece? It’s a bit hard to ask this question without knowing what I need to ask but I hope this gets close enough that you might be able to help. Thanks, and I absolutely LOVE what you do and idolize your skills with 3d printing and you are an amazing maker/engineer! I don’t know if I’m your biggest fan but I’m for sure one of them! It’s like every single hobby that I love is all in one. Side note: I’ve had some of the same experience when looking at micromotor handpieces, where the price doesn’t dictate the quality and doing the research becomes just trial and error or rather buy it and pray it’s right.
