    Do you take TRT or HGH?

    • @aeckelbarger
      @aeckelbarger 4 дні тому

      I have been on hormone replacement for about 12 years. I take 80 mg (most people are on 200 mg) of testosterone per week subcutaneously to manage my estradiol levels. I have never done HGH but I do take a secretagogue called Secretatropin (taken sublingually by spray) to help with my IGF-1 levels which are not optimal. I do take Pregnenolone and DHEA to help those levels stay in better range. I have found that most people are not aware of what they need to be doing or taking too much of everything and their levels are usually messed up which I help through my medical teams to correct.

    • @aeckelbarger
      @aeckelbarger 16 днів тому

      Hey, thanks for commenting. The upright row done properly is a good exercise to help develop the side deltoid & can impact the trapezius some depending on how high you bring the movement up. I like to alternate using lateral raises on one training session & then upright rows the next time. Just want to keep in mind not to go too heavy because it really is not good for proper form. Hope that helps.

    Love what oatmeal does for me, but it gives me a migraine time to time...any insights why?

    • @aeckelbarger
      @aeckelbarger 21 день тому

      Hey, thanks for commenting. One of the things you may want to consider is to have a DNA Methylation test done (only need it once) to see what genetic mutations you got from your parents that are affected by how you absorb nutrients. Oatmeal can cause rapid changes in blood sugar which can trigger a migraine, you have a Avenin sensitivity which can cause coeliac-like responses like headaches or you are just sensitive to that type of food. You may want to try some all natural grits (not fortified or enriched with folic acid) to see how you respond. Hope that helps.

      @aeckelbarger Місяць тому

      Hello and thanks for commenting! You can always take more product but the recommended dose being done consistently is probably just as effective. I have clients using it at the recommended dose and seeing improvement. You could do the mega dose for a period of time, say 7-10 days then cut it back to what is recommended. There will always be differing opinions, so experimenting and checking labs is the most effective in my opinion, hope that helps.

      @aeckelbarger Місяць тому

      Yeah, that is kind of a loaded question because it really needs to be based on what your goals are for your training. For example, your training should be focused on improving your weaker muscle groups (have no idea what those are if any), what is your equipment selection like, understanding that intensity is what builds muscle but you have to optimize recovery and hormones to get the best response, etc. If you would like to schedule a complimentary Zoom or phone call, I could give you better direction. Hey, sorry or the delayed response, I was out of town for a few days. Yeah, you need to look to lower that down but another factor would be what your triglyceride levels are (if they are elevated that makes things worse from things I have learned). If you are eating any processed food and sugar, I would cut that back immediately. I may also consider start taking Nattokinase and Berberine supplements as a natural way to bring it down but if you are taking other medications you should discuss with a pharmacists or medical professional. You can consult with a qualified medical professional on their suggestions but you should also do your own research as well. This is my opinion only and is not to be considered medical advice. Hope this helps.

    Aging is a metabolic disease. The worse our metabolic health is, the higher our inflammation and oxidation is, the quicker we age. Hyperinsulinemia and insulin resistance(metabolic syndrome) is the main driver behind hypertension and causes a host of other diseases. Mix the metabolism, slow the aging process. Utilize fasting as a tool to strip metabolically active visceral fat and exercise and diet changes to change body composition. Of course lifting heavy and training to failure is a staple in building muscle and helping fix that broken metabolism too.

    • @aeckelbarger
      @aeckelbarger 2 місяці тому

      Hey, thanks for commenting! You are definitely on track with your understanding because how we treat our mitochondria by eating to much toxic food, alcohol, lack of sleep and not paying attention to our hormones levels causes the ongoing downgrade of health and muscle tissue. People need to wake up and start realizing they need to be their own advocate to maintain quality health and lifespan for longevity. Please share with others and continue your message as well.

      @aeckelbarger Місяць тому

      Hey, appreciate the comment but I only take around 80 mg of doctor prescribed testosterone and use HCG 2 times per week to keep my feedback loop (testicles) working. If your joints are a problem, you should take Krill and Fish Oil daily along with Vitamin D3 (first step is to check your levels) with some fat for it to absorb properly and there should not be any joint issues.

      Hello & glad you asked. There are 2 types of aging, the first is chronological (how many years old you are) and the second is your biological age (some people age slower than others due to lifestyle factors and environment). I am 60 years old but people think I am much younger than that by my appearance. I do not suffer from other chronic health conditions like high blood pressure, high bad cholesterol, triglycerides, inflammation, low hormone levels, etc because i know what to do to control those factors which include nutrition, supplementation, exercise, recovery/sleep and hormone optimization for a better health and lifespan. People today are suffering all kinds of health issues because of their lifestyle choices, our toxic food system (too much sugar & processed food), not getting enough sleep and dealing with too much stress. Does that help?

      Yeah, it is good stuff. If you have any sleep issues stop drinking it after 2 pm & see if that helps, otherwise enjoy.

    Yo! What's up with the NSP Milk & Egg formula change. Also they won't have Cherry Almond anymore :( I think I remember you saying that was your favorite flavor. I will also miss it.

      Well... there is a new owner that took over in November & I he is a jerk, so I left NSP. I am not sure what is going to happen with the company going forward. I just went ahead & set up a new account with Nutricost as a replacement for all my supplement needs. It was very disappointing to say the least.

      @@aeckelbarger WOW. That is super disappointing. Yeah I emailed back and forth, with what looks to be the new owner. Wasn't the best experience. They weren't really answering my questions and concerns and kept trying to sell me on the new products. Apparently Cherry Almond wasn't selling well enough so they discontinued it. Super disappointed on that. Also the new formula has Xantham gum and Whey Isolate. I think Vince is rolling in his grave! Well that's sad - end of an era I guess. Check out "Iron mind Just Protein". It's pretty comparable to the old school formulas. Just doesn't have the digestive enzymes. Thanks Arman!

      @@Cypher402 Yeah, I think the manufacturer may have sold the new owner that the Xantham gum will thicken the product more and that the Whey Isolate would help it absorb quicker which it does but the purpose of the product was to let the egg absorb quickly which is does and then let the casein protein from milk absorb much slower to keep you satiated (full) longer. He is listening to other so-called experts that think they know what sells. He should have really just kept the original formula & then the create the other product to see if anyone really cares. He is just copying what everyone else in the marketplace is doing which is nothing more than a race to the bottom because then it is all about price. Anyways, I appreciate your support. Have a great day.
