- The choicest Virginias, burleys and dark fired Kenyan leaf are enhanced with an impeccable addition of spicy perique, then aged to perfection before being spun into enticingly beautiful, zesty coins. A delightfully vivacious and flavorful smoke.
Good Morning 😊 Strange weather for June 😮 Beautiful Pipe 😍 Delightful Blend , saw a few reviews and it sounds good 👍🏼 Thanks for your thoughts on the Blend 👏🏼Have a great day and Happy Smoking Moments 🌬💨💨 Greetings From South Africa 🇿🇦
Great to see a new video from you brother!.
This is one I need to try, but like you, the burley and dark fired has held me back.
You know, I've wondered if sometimes they'll list burley as a blend component just because there's Perique, or dark fired in the blend ( that are made from Burley tobacco), because I've tasted blends that list burley, but I don't taste it...or maybe my palate just isn't that great lol.
As a Florida boy, my pipe smoking goes WAY DOWN in the summer too, I basically have to wait until sundown, and take a Thermocell outside ( for the mosquitoes).
Luckily the skeeters are pretty mild in cali where i am. I think you may be on to something but why list the kentucky and Perique if you just going to use burley as a blanket component? Sometimes i think they use a bit of burley to just kick up the nicotine but idk.
@Shallowpockets87 yea, we battle the heat and humidity when the sun is up, and the second the sun starts to go down, those blood suckers come out.
Yea, I don't know man, just an idea I had, but who knows. I do think they sprinkle in a little to bump up the nicotine, especially on blends that otherwise wouldn't have much ( like in blends with more Virginia's etc ), and if it was just a sprinkle of Burley, I'm not sure that I could taste that...especially if the rest of the blend featured stuff that I enjoy and would spot first.
Great tobacco review you have a great day my friend
Thank you sir, you as well.
