Knott apart, never heard of any of them and starting off in a bog in the middle of summer, no wonder Dave is not with you. Well deserved cup of tea for your half way mark and you are cracking those them mind. Awful when you do a big assent for absolutely no reward but at least it has been done and Stainton Pike was much more acceptable. I remember doing an out an back to the Wainwright Knott, as well - it must be a thing! I think if I ever do (unlightly) White Pike, I will take the correct path down and not the decent of doom! You looked like the cat who had, had the cream when you got recognised but a well needed lift after 15 miles, I'll bet! Cheers Alan

That decent off High Crag is atrocious. However I might be jaded as we did it in the clag and couldn't see more than a foot in front of us. I don't remember a nice stone stepped path however. Well Dave, just back from Naddle Horseshoe (part 1 Scalebarrow to Hareshore and back). Sooooo glad we decided to split in to two. Scalebarrow to approaching Powleys Hill was really good. Powleys to Hareshaw not so good. We did take your advice with the sweeping ridge approach to Hare Shaw which was much better than ther direct bog fest. Spent quite a while on Hare Shaw having butties and drinks etc . We were slightly more fortunate with the weather than your circuit. Have to say hats off to completing the full round that took some considerable effort over bad terrain. We are saving part 2 for another day, but have discovered a few parking spaces near Naddle Farm that will make it easier

Morning Marra, cracking video again. Me and Mossy visited the Bothy on our way out from our wild camp a few weeks ago. It’s a cracking spot although as you saw can get busy. People also attack it from Longsleddale too. Nice to see you both stacking it. 🤣🤣 We saw the waterfall on our way down but didn’t venture over, we were piss wet through and just wanted to get back. Interesting to see your route over those two, Dave. I have them pencilled in for later in the year, coming up from Wet Sleddale Reservoir.
