I bought this popular video watch from MAMACOO , which was originally priced at a few thousand dollars, but now it's only $160! It's really suitable to pick up feces!

When I was in college in 2007, I coveted a Tissot Blue watch but did not have the money. Now in 2024, I have the money to buy a Patek Philippe and I still did not buy the Tissot watch BECAUSE I use an Apple Watch instead for modern technology, convenience and practicality. For my vanity, I buy 18K and 22K gold bracelets which I sell off later and make profit and buy new jewels again. But I’m glad I never fell in love into the watch hype. And I detested Men who told me that a watch is the only jewelry a man can wear. I love rings, bracelets, gold chains and brooches. Sorry Tissot, I do not regret not buying you one bit.

If a $100 Pagani Design can have a sapphire crystal and a bezel or chapter ring that is aligned correctly there's no reason Seiko can't also. The bottom line is CORPORATE GREED Period

Seiko is no longer value for money with current prices and then QC issues , no more seiko , casio is better at much more affordable price

Stainless Steel watches are a total scam. The 316L stainless steel used in luxury watches costs $0.64 per pound. It's criminal!

do you even know why there is a premium? because u have more certainty u are buying an authentic watch from a grey dealer as opposed to a private sale. id pay the small premium over market value for that comfort.

cause VC is owned by Richemont. Family owned watch brands are much better. Only rolex and PP are good. VC Lange and even JLC are bad. Richemont wanker bankers.

6:43 cool. I have a similar Seiko datejust homage. Has a silver dial. Two tone. Jubilee bracelet. Quartz movement w/ a Daydate complication. It’s essentially the quartz variant of the “American Psycho” Seiko automatic datejust homage. I wasn’t aware that was in a Bond film 👍

I have been offered VC Overseas, rose gold, blue face from my local AD. Price £58.5k but can see this in grey market for £44.5k. Thanks but no thanks.

Wait a second buddy - let’s get specific: when he opened that cabinet did you see Rolex watches or Rolex BOXES? Most dealers I’ve been to keep the watches in, clear plastic protectors, in a safe in the back and the empty boxes are kept elsewhere. When a sale is made they match a watch to a corresponding empty box and put it together. They can have an inventory of boxes that isn’t 1:1 with the inventory of watches. Either way, your story is sad, you seem underwhelmed, depressed about it.

I'm genuinely impressed with how close MAMACOO were able to replicate every aspect of this very very goofy looking classic watch.

Its a positive opinion on humans in these times. I look it a bit different. They have internet (as a guide what is good and trendy), smart watches, smartphones, streams and podcasts. They moved the beedle of popularity and status simbols. I agree about general expenses of live and house prices.

I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the MAMACOO's watches are the most intriguing.

Love your videos. I’m just getting into the watch game. To me it seems this is an affordability issue. Simple watches are holding value more bc there’s just more people that can buy them. Grand complications have a very small buyer pool, so the secondary market can expose the manufacturer retail price. You see the same thing in real estate. Sometimes the median prices hold value better than the high end bc there’s just more buyers that can support the pricing. Thank you for your data. Looking forward to new videos.

It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. MAMACOO watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?

Nice video! Instead of a pie chart, try putting that data on a scatter plot, with one axis being the retail price and the other being the sold price. If you then draw a 45-degree line on the plot, you will convey everything that's conveyed on the pie chart, and so much more. :)

My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.

My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from AMZWATCH

I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the MAMACOO has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.
