    Came here from a comment you made on Virginia Kerrs page where you said she helped you so much. I love your channel! I don't know exactly why i chose this video to watch, but I'm glad i did. I have 8 children, three that are out of the house and five aged 7 and under. I am so overwhelmed at home with all the mess and being the only one that actually cleans. Kids help, but I'm not consistent with anything in my life, until i started posting on my channel.... so lol your channel is going to help my life, i do believe. Thank you so much!❤

    I love your channel, and I too, am binge watching! The topic really resonates with me. I was ready to purchase the planner until I read the description as a three month planner. So, is it actually only for three months, then you use a new one for the next three months? Goal setting is not that serious for me, as I am retired. But, I do have an Etsy shop, and I am now consulting for a startup respite program for children and families. So, the benefits are obvious to me…. Are there any less expensive planner systems you can recommend?

    The two best, key pieces of advice you have offered that have removed obstacles for me so far is: One system does not fit all. My exercise has become more consistent since moving it to evening versus morning. If I happen to get some movement in before I leave my house at 6am than bonus. Your comment on self care, healthy lifestyle being for life rather then achieving an end goal was a big ah ha moment. Nothing else really matters if I'm letting my body and mind fall into disrepair. Thanks for sharing.

    Yes! Creating an environment that is going to set you up for your success is crucial. If you want to have a healthy lifestyle but have nothing but soda, cookies, cake, chips, etc in your home how can you expect to be set up for success for health? If you want to have better sleep at night and scrolling is your issue why are you putting your phone by your bed and not across the room? It is time to look at our environment and see if it is supporting us in achieving our goals or where we want our lives to be. Love this! Thank you.

    I NEEDED to hear that no one is coming; so much truth there. The one goal I focus on that I said and said and said I would do is take my behind to bed and here I am still trying to do it. Tomorrow does in fact take care itself and the past cannot be changed so worrying is pointless. Fatigue leads to no workouts eating anything and making poor irrational decisions. Time to pray pivot and be productive 🙏🏾🫶🏾 EXCELLENT video👍🏾

    I'm using my planner and actually time blocking! Shamefully, I purchased a book case.. a year ago. I specifically time blocked Saturday from 8am to 12n to get it built. I spent the day not only completing it, but I organized my games, puzzles, books, CDs on it. I went ahead and organized and cleaned the whole game room and took down my other Christmas tree that was in the space. I'm learning to use momentum to go ahead and tackle whatever I can until I run out of gas! If I have extra energy on a particular day, use it ALL.

    I watched before church and you were spot on. Like I said, I was thinking of adding more to my list bc there is always MORE. More vitamins, more workouts, more techniques, more books. It can be exhausting to try to do everything. I'm focusing on my cardiac health. Dats it. I feel like by working on that I'll unknowingly be working on other things without feeling overwhelmed.     hmm so you say most of us work 8-12 hrs daily but you come home from work at 15:00? if I did too, I would get so much done! I do that on easy days, but most weekdays I’m out of steam by the time I come home at 17:00 after 8 hrs of work and 2 hrs on total commute. and then all of those tips seem unreasonable, because it takes me at least 2 hrs to unwind, and only then I start cooking, eating, preparing for the next day - and then I am forced to go to sleep 🙄 any advice for unwinding faster…?

      I wish i got off at three lol! I usually get off between 430-530. My commute is about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. What is happening in your unwind time? How do your mornings look?

      @@DiakaMelendez my mornings are fixed - wake up at 7am, shower and get ready, leave home at 8am, commute by bike + train for 1h, start work at 9am. in my unwind time I am mostly crushed emotionally because work is oftentimes difficult, so I maybe lay on a couch for 1h, or empty the dishwasher, or unpack, small house chores like this. I don't know how to make more time for hobbies and other personal goals 🤔

    Yes! I have been over consuming! I have a long list, but no make up, use up my beauty products, no clothes, no perfume, no shoes, use up all pet products first, use up what I have in my fridge/pantry, no impulse purchases, no books until I read what I have, no jewelry! I want a simpler life in my space! Good luck!

    I just found your channel through a New Year’s video, and I enjoyed it so much that I am going through some of your previous content. This video is a much-needed message for me, as I travel between my current home state and my childhood home state to help care for an ill parent. I am so grateful to have a job where I can go back and forth, but in 2024 I absolutely had trouble sticking to any sort of routine. One of my goals in 2025 is to try to do so as I continue to go back and forth. This gentle approach, even though the topic is the holiday season, is very helpful for this period of life I’m in.     I am doing a No buy for Jan but now am thinking this "quarter" idea sounds good as well. I am buying necessities (groceries) but no duplicating items. Am also doing a "Shop my Pantry" January. Focusing on utilizing my pantry items that have been sitting there for months. I have some panko crumbs, meats in freezer. I will be making use of them instead of starting from scratch while neglecting ingredients I already have. Same with my spices....so many things. 🤭

    Using my beautiful planner as I watch this 😂 but fr tho - she’s right! As an ADHDer I have - to this day - so many partially used planners bc I couldn’t follow through. No system, just Willie Nilly. For me, a lot of traditional systems don’t work. I get it and they sound good in theory, but consistency is key! …also VERY hard to do for me bc of the ADHD. For my ADHDers - our morning routine is EVERYTHING!!! We need MOMENTUM. Tiny little wins turn into consistent big wins (it’s a dopamine/ reward center thing) Incorporate NO PHONE - scrolling or checking - 1st thing as your 1st step. Take your meds. Make your bed. Drink your drink… take on the rest of your day. Use the momentum to stay on task with results driven action items. Layer this on top of what she’s saying and you will see your days change in a huge way!!

    I have decided that my entire goal this year is to keep my house simple so I can live big. I am doing things like turning down the heat, we are eating what is in the house before we buy more, and planning more adventures and trips. This is not about $$$ to me, this is all about intent. I want to see the world, do things like a triathlon, spend time at the park with friends.

    I'm cutting back on clothing. This quarter includes my 50th birthday and I know I am not cutting back on my celebrations. One thing I no longer want to cut back on is traveling. In the next quarter is where I will do my hardcore cut backs. I am more focused than ever on dreams and goals.
