Kenny Chesney weekend 2024
Kenny kicked off his 2024 tour at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. It was a weekend filled with good friends, cold drinks, great music and so much laughter and kindness shared with old and new friends. If you have an opportunity to go see Kenny, do it. It’s a once in a lifetime experience to be with 70,000 life-loving beach 🏖️ bums who sing 🎶 every word to every song. Thanks, Kenny; you make the intolerable tolerable.

After a Loggerhead Turtle nest has hatched, 3 days afterwards we come back to make sure there aren’t any babies, still struggling to emerge. Although we didn’t find any live babies today, it’s pretty cool to see the process, and all that goes into it. Enjoy.

I volunteer at Mote Aquarium in Sarasota, FL, and I’m on Turtle Patrol 🐢. Today was an absolutely amazing day on Longboat Key, at sunrise. I came upon a Loggerhead Turtle laying eggs (nesting). Why does it matter if the bottom is painted black ?
Even with the bottom painted black, this many barnacles can damage the paint and the hull…..as well as decrease fuel efficiency. Have a wonderful day, Amanda.
