Things to do in Longboat Key-Anna Maria Island-Beer Can Island

Florida is just beautiful!! Directly between the bridge that connects Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island, is a little gem called Beer Can Island. Anna Maria and Longboat Key are accessible by car, but Beer Can Island is only accessible by boat. On this beautiful October day, we took the ole Sea Ray, with Captain Chubby, for a lunch n’ rum trip, with the yout’s. Blue green water, blue and puffy white skies, and the ocean lapping at the shore, made for a picture perfect outing. In the evening, we finished with an amazing dinner at Drift Restaurant, and watched the sun set (in a brilliant orange) by the Tiki Bar at Lido Resort. Lots of fun, laughter and silliness all day long. Life is pretty darn good. Capture it!!
