  • Did you know that the Bald Cypress is the only deciduous conifer (evergreen). What’s deciduous, you ask?? Well deciduous simply means a tree that drops its leaves, or in this case, it’s needles. Every other evergreen stays, well, forever green. Hah. Not the Bald Cypress. In the fall, many think the Bald Cypress is dying, when in reality, it’s merely shedding its needles, so it can push out a new crop in the spring. This video will teach you a little bit more about this amazing tree. Enjoy!!

I think you meant to say a deciduous CONIFER...it's a gorgeous tree...A live oak would be more of a deciduous evergreen. A Bald cypress is a Full on Deciduous tree.. loses its leaves all winter. I will thumbs up the video since you took the time to go find this gorgeous tree. Have a nice day!
