@ShotInTheDark, You made me chuckle, thank you. The "lounge" is a metaphor for my channel, I give everyone a first class ticket and a front row seat to the seaplane action. I would highly recommend retiring to the island, it's a beautiful place to call home. As beautiful as it is, it is also one of the most expensive places in Canada to live. I know quite a few people that work, and have worked for the Victoria Harbour Ferry, they love it! The guys I know that captain the little ferries(water taxi) absolutely love what they do, they say they could have never imagined retirement could be so fun. I hope you will visit the lounge often, the front row seat is always reserved for you. Best....Corrie

@Dave_In_Boston, all of my seaplane videos are done with my camera in my hand as steady as I can hold it and I zoom with my thumbs. I have a great little DJI gimbal, but it doesn’t move quite quick enough at full zoom. The gimbal is great for walking shots but I rarely use it. Yes i think it's best left to the AAIB. Their findings will be released in due course. I'm sure they will waste no time getting her back in the air as soon as they can. They can't begin until the airframe is released by the TSB (sorry I called it the AAIB )) that's what it is called in UK and I didn't know what the Canadian equivalent is.

@@leftcoastcorrie You’re welcome Corrie. Aviation is in my blood. I was a flight instructor for years and my son flies an A320 for an airline. None of this matters anymore because I lost a lot of my eyesight due to a rare neurological condition. I don’t know your story but it seems we are both half blind now. 🙌🏼 Your enthusiasm brought a smile to my face and I appreciate a sincere effort to create a quality channel. Keep it up!

It still sometimes happens fast and I have to turn quickly, I do mess up sometimes and it makes me feel queasy too. A turbine being smoother than a radial it should ease vibration problems. Or at least you'd have thought so. I don't know about trim problems but I do know that the lengthened nose was to keep the centre of gravity in the same place due to the turbine engine being a lot lighter.

I hang out at the harbour and just wait for the comings and goings. It would be amazing if I could find the information, I haven’t found it yet. Best….Corrie

The FlightRadar24 app will allow you to point your phone at a plane and it will tell you where it came from and anything else you want to know.

@hamradio3716, CrumplePop sounds very interesting, I shall investigate. It sounds a little more technical than I can manage. I struggle terribly with technology. They say you can teach a dinosaur(me), i'm not so sure. Trying to keep costs in check is a challenge. I've made just over $1100 from UA-cam. I've invested it all back into my business, except for the 10% to charity. I've invested in helpful apps and equipment upgrades, like my $300 Rode wireless microphone. It goes fast! Best...Corrie
