Welcome to the lounge at Vancouver Harbour in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Before we embark on this thrilling adventure, it's important to acknowledge that I filmed this aerial spectacle within the shared, unceded ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We express our heartfelt gratitude to these Indigenous communities for their enduring stewardship of the land.
My channel is dedicated to bringing you new flight adventures every weekend, allowing you to explore the world of planes, trains, automobiles, food reviews, and tourist attractions in the vibrant capital city of Victoria, Vancouver, British Columbia and across this vast country of Canada. There are almost 200 seaplane videos in the Planes playlist. Thanks for taking your front row seat with a first class ticket in the lounge.

@jamesburnside3023, Jim you are too kind, thanks for your ongoing support and encouragement. I've learned from watching how you set up a shot, the depth you capture is amazing. Grateful to have you on the journey with me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Best...Corrie
Miss Corrie well done again. There is something extra nice with the red paint scheme. Flying out to Victoria from Ottawa on June 24th to visit my darling grand daughters so look up and wave.
@gettingold59, Allan I truly hope we can meet for a coffee when you get to Victoria, or better yet, we could go for a sightseeing tour in an Otter if time and funds allow. I will certainly look up and wave when you are coming to Victoria, let me know when your flight is coming into Victoria(Sidney) and I will record your flight coming in. I grew up in Sidney and know YYJ well. Hope all is well in Ottawa. Best...Corrie
Great video Corrie i really enjoyed it and a little longer which is nice, thanks.
@robertwoodwardwoodward247, thanks Robert for your always kind words, engagement and support. I'm grateful you are on the journey with me. It's much more fun to share the journey with people that share similar interests. I was just in Vancouver for 4 days filming these magnificent machines, lots of great content to share over the next couple of months. Stay tuned! Best...Corrie

@shaunpavery-pn5jq, thanks Shaun for your always kind words and support, I am truly grateful. It is on my bucket list to film the Northern Lights. I was going to see if I could see them last night, it was a beautiful clear evening, but I was too tired to go out after my hockey team lost. Best....Corrie
Another great video. Looks like a nice day there.
@mothmagic1, the weather has been amazing, but we really need rain, and lots of it. Thanks for your always kind words and support. Best....Corrie
@@leftcoastcorriepity we couldn't have sent you some of ours then. The first four months of the year I think we had some rain every day
@mothmagic1, if only it were so easy....lol. Best...Corrie
Back in 2019 I took a sightseeing flight in FODH, didn’t realize she was 2 years older than me. Harbour Air is nice little airline, they run a tight operation.
@RussSharpe, Russ, thank you for your kind words, engagement and support, I am truly grateful. You're fortunate to go for a ride in this amazing machine. It is on my bucket list to sit in the right seat and record the journey in this beautiful machine C-FODH. I have posted a few videos with me in the right seat in a few different Otters, just not this one. I couldn't agree more, Harbour Air is a nice little airline, they are one of my favourite local business' and i'm all about supporting local. Thanks Russ for finding the lounge today, I'm so happy you took the front row seat with your first class ticket. Best...Corrie
Proof that de Havilland built their bush planes to last
Proof that de Havilland built their bush planes to last. Yes Harbour Air are very good. Courteous, friendly and efficient.
@mothmagic1, I couldn't agree more. De Havilland=built to last and HA is a mighty fine seaplane operation. Thanks for your always kind words, engagement and support. Best...Corrie
Awesome captures as usual Corriel! I'll be at the Comox Airshow after Noon (neuro physio appointment at Noon).
I'll be wearing my light blue DH2 Beaver T-Shirt and blue DH2 Beaver ball cap :) Hopefully we can meet in person :)
Stay well Corrie :)
@kenbarthSimAV8tor, Ken, I booked my hotel today. I will be in the valley from early Friday to Sunday. My email address is .... send me an email and I will give you my phone number, we can shore up details to meet in person. I love that you will be decked out in your Beaver gear, that's awesome! I've been told I should put some of my still shots on t-shirts and hats and sell them online. I don't think my still shots are good enough quality that people would buy them, so I haven't tried. Ken, aways grateful for your kind words, engagement and support. Can't wait to meet you, you've been on this journey with me a long time. Best....Corrie
@@leftcoastcorrie You can copy any image to put on a T-Shirt; I did that once with an image of an Air Canada DC-8; my Dad worked on them alot at the Dorval (Montral) location
@kenbarthSimAV8tor, Ken, you are too kind. It's me and my lack of faith in my ability to take a good photo. I'm happy with my video skills, my still work, is a work in progress. If I put a seaplane image of mine on a hat, t-shirt or coffee mug, or something like that, I will make sure you get one. I am sincerely grateful for your unwavering support and positive encouragement. Can't wait to meet you! Best...Corrie
Wow what an old fleet. What is the newest airframe in the fleet? Thank You!
@FredB916, thanks for your engagement and support, I am truly grateful. Harbour Air has a couple of pretty new seaplanes. The Cessna Grand Caravan's were purchased new in 2018. It's quite amazing how good maintenance and avionic upgrades can keep these machines flying. Harbour Air has a Beaver that was manufactured in 1949 and this video showcases the oldest Otter which was manufactured in 1952. Gulf Island Seaplanes has Beaver #44, it was built in 1948. And I thought I was old....lol. Thanks for finding the lounge, I'm thrilled you took the front row seat with your first class ticket. Welcome aboard! Best...Corrie
@@leftcoastcorrie thanks for the info. Great job on the videos. Will go back and look at some of your older work. Love the area spent time growing up in North Vancouver and Deep Cove. My daughter lives in the island and I live in California atm. Miss it up there and make trips frequently ;) Hope to see you around and I will keep following.
@FredB916, Fred, thanks for coming on this journey with me, grateful to have you on board. North Vancouver is beautiful. Go easy on me with my beginner work, my audio was bad and my video quality has improved a lot. This UA-cam journey has introduced me to some of the kindest people on earth and has been the steepest learning curve of my life. I had no idea my passion for life, and a camera in my hand would have ever brought me to where I am today. I am grateful to the UA-cam platform for putting content creators together with people that want to view what you have to share. Blind in my left eye since birth, I know how fortunate I am everyday for the gift of one exceptional eye. I get to share with the world what my monocular world looks like, lucky me. I hope to see you around too. Best...Corrie
