I just recently did both the place opposite Clift Side Prospector on the east of the river where the Deathclaw breeding ground is, and The Courier's Mile with a 50 level Courier. I bagged 12 Deathclaws in the breeding ground using an anti material rifle with AP rounds. And I think I did all the Deathclaws and Irradiated Marked Men in the mile. I was only able to do this by quicksaving the game after every kill. The Mile is the hardest of the two in my opinion. It is made more difficult by the Irradiated Marked Men joining with the Deathclaws against you. I think if you go to the right and deal with the deathclaws first, you have better luck. In the Mile, both creatures get their hit points renewed from the surrounding radiation. The radiation revives them while it is killing you. The Deathclaws in the Mile clump around together protected by wreckages, so sniper shooting is not possible until one is by itself and an open target. In the Mile you have to use weapons that do immediate and continuous high damage with multiple shots. The anti-material rifle took too long to reload and didn't do enough damage even with AP rounds. I found the Assault Carbine with AP rounds much more effecitve. I also used the Annabell missile launcher with High Explosive rounds (but it does as much damage to you as it does to the death claw and IMMs. In the Mile was I left with one IMM who was taking HP off me with a plasma caster and every HP I took off him regenerated right away, so I got mad and finally shot him with the Alien Blaster I'd saved for emergencies and that did him right there. That was actually pretty funny. Reminded me of the time I saved the three Holy Frag Grenades just for Lanius the Monster of the East at the end of one run. As soon as I was within throwing distance of him, I tossed one of the grenades and he was blown up into the air and then landed in a ditch, dead as a doornail. Talk about an anticlimax.

I've found that People who hate Fallout 3 seem to fall into two categories, (1) People who only care about graphics and thus are incapable of play anything older than the current gen. (2) Elietist who think Fallout 1&2 are the greatest things since sliced bread. Both groups are idiots one for not having the ability to go back and play great games simply because the graphics aren't 1080P and the other for being so pig headed they don't understand that without Fallout 3 no one would know about or care about their beloved Fallout 1&2. Fallout 3 is awesome, its also a product of its time, its shocking how many people are unable to comprehend this.

I enjoyed 3 and it drove me to try New Vegas, never turned back since.

My very first play through of FNV got soft locked. I consider it very easy to soft lock and especially to lock yourself out of certain items. I'm not talking like alternate consequences I mean like you do one unrelated quest at the wrong time and boom youre never going to unlock Arcade Gannon as a companion. I remember vault 22 and it's relating quests being a particular point of contention and being something you can't touch until the end or near end of the game

The couriers mile is harder js, i beat the caves on verry hard hardcore with a riot shotgun, and i tried doing the same on the couriers mile and for some reason on very hard the irradiated deathclaws tend not to get knocked over as often by the shotgun blasts and i might be tripping but they recover quicker too. If i went for their legs i just got ran over in half a second before i could cripple them and i die in one shot to them. I am level 50 as well though, to complicate things even further my entire level 50 build is created around the riot shotgun/any other shotgun, i have max agility, max luck, built to destroy, fast shot, shitgun surgeon, and stay bacj, rapid reload, grunt, and cowboy.. maybe its the fact that i have light touch and only use light armor, idk, but for some god forsaken reason i cannot beat the couriers mile without using reload cheese with hotkeyed ammo or lowering to difficulty to normal, i should also probably mention my charachter has relatively low endurance and relies heavily on stacking food healing items to keep health moving towards full during firefights, if i start with the marked men i can sometimes take their position and use it against the deathclaws but thats not easy since the marked men fall on you just as fast and dont let up, they are constantly healing and dont care what gun i try using, i even tried falling back on using a mini gun with as much amma as i could carry, they ran me dry

Fallout 3 is fine. I find it enjoyable, even if I do wish it had writing as good as NV, but it is fine.

Dead wind cavern is accutly not that hard, you need strategy. Normally if you go 100 guns 100 sneak, with a stealth boy, using specifically the riot shotgun with the 'Get back' perk, you can stun them, also, to make it even esier you can relase tanky melee companions like Veronica and Lily to attrack attention, and you'll have plenty of time to riddle them with bullets

Why? Well, it's simple, really. One is Toddout aka "wacky ultraviolent 1950s where nukes are awesome and cool" and one is an actual continuation of FO2's aesthetic and tone where nukes are still viewed as the dangerous thing that ruined the world. Toddout fucking sucks (which means TTW sucks too) and only absolute morons with no taste or standards for the RPG's they play enjoy Toddout.

i ALLWAYS like Fo3 more then new vegas. not for objective reasons. only preference. im not a big fan of this desert cowboy kinda setting, i like gnr much more, i like fo3's atmosphere and look a lot more and i really think fo3's quests arent that bad honestly. in new vegas i feel most factions and quests also were pretty clearly "bad" or "good" choices. also, new vegas could build on what fallout 3 managed and improve on it. if i have the choice, id allways choose Fallout 3.

I didn’t find out about the promontory until a few years ago when I wanted to explore every inch of the map. I stumbled upon it. Saw the red ticks and moved forward just to see a ton of deathclaws.

I think FNV is turd. It may have some redeeming qualities, but the world itself isn't. The politics in it isn't. The factions aren't. The exploration sure the heck isn't. Maybe it's the story. I wouldn't know. By the time I got to helping Mr. House, the game got so buggy and ruined my save I gave up on it. I couldn't bring myself to try again because I was just forcing myself to play a game that just didn't do it for me. The game is linear. The exploration sucks. The cosplay romans soldiers looks goofy af. NCR sucks too. The landscape lacked any danger. Maybe the are with cazadors and the deathclaws, but that's it. I played this game from 2010 to around 2013. Modding it was the only thing that kept me around it for years, but eventually I was so bored of this game that I would log off after 5 minutes in game. I kid you not. I've never had that experience with a game before. It was like forcing myself to play this game and I just couldn't do it anymore. While FO3 has questionable things like Megaton and the bomb in the center of it. How they actually survive in this wasteland if what is completely irradiated, I enjoyed it for what it was. The exploration was far more superior. And when it comes to genres like this, open world wastelands, details in the world matter. Yeah, so Obsidian was given a short time of development. Sure, whatever.... Doesn't change the fact that the world was just boring to explore. At least with Fallout 3, Bethesda at the time didn't try to sell you some stupid "dlc" content that added weapons and armor. Those stash "dlcs" from FNV were more like paid mods. Probably where Bethesda got the idea of paid mods to begin with. Thanks, Obsidian. BTW, is this TTW or just Fallout 3 modded? I'm going to assume it's TTW, because I doubt Fallout 3 alone has a lot of those mods for it.

You can use this duplication glitch in reverse to stack armor bonus stats infinitely, but you need at least 2 of that armor

Ive said this and always will: For me the atmophere and environment is more interesting in 3. If im in a post apocalyptic world, id rather be in a creepy dilapidated city that a desert. A desert will always be a desert. Empty, that is how i feel about the world density in FNV. While FO3 is packed with buildings and streets.
