@@Fiestastix Pops and bangs are explosions, it's combustion inside your exhaust system. Similar combustion happens inside your engine which shoves your vehicle down the highway. These pops and bangs are not weak and insignificant, they have an effect on the muffler packing, your engine exhaust valves, a turbocharger (if equipped). Metal fatigues, has to absorb the explosions, exhaust manifold gaskets have to seal the pressure from blowing out, a lot is going on.

@@martinhoward9564 I've heard NOTHING but good stuff about the x47r, as long as everything is properly thighten. TBH I am not sure how much the x48r gains in HP in comparison. Can be marketing bullshit for all I know haha

honetsly it depends. Stage 1 is geaaat already. Yoou just need to figure out how much of a petrolheand you are. Worth it ? depends. Personally I did it because I'm a pertrolhead and I liked the premise of having stronger turbo acoustics, even more than sheer power. So I'd say it'll play itself along depend what you are seeking the most. To me, having a car that sounds reaaaally good to my ear is paramount to its pure potential on a track.. Other than that the x48r is pretty good as a "cheap" turbo upgrade that will both give you unprecedented turbo sounds and performances. Choice is yours my firend

Nada, haven't touched the chassis yet. Just a Cobb engine mount. But a 6 pts front lower beam seems to works wonder, definitely on my mind

Hey pal ! Got some ST's too in Ukrain ? That's awesome, even here in Switzerland I rarely see some. Yeah straight lines are as boring as it gets for this type of car. But you can have plenty of fun just messing around in city roads like in roundabouts and stuff ;)

@@Fiestastixwell i do a lot of trackdays, and my coach told me to keep my hands fixed at east and west for the best control over the car. Immagine loosing ur rear end while 1 hand is on top of ur wheel and 1 hand is on the west side of ur wheel, u aint gonna hold that. U just slam into the nearest thing on the road. Just saying! U can drive however u want bur i tought better five some tips.

@@mikegaming3826 Appreciate it, UA-cam "coaches" is one thing but I most definitely I've not had a coach whatsoever. I'd live to though, but for you if you had that priviledge. @@Fiestastixyeah i just oay for trackdays here in Zolder, its 125 euros for 4 hours ald a coach is 50 an hour i did it once or twice, really helped me get my car more under control, he also learned me how to heel toe! Wich is difficult in a fiesta

Stage 1 is already sooo good. Honestly stage 2 is slightly best if you drive those kinds of roads, just a tad less turbo lag.

YES ! STs just makes you happy :) no matter what, even a quick trip to the groceries store can be a total blast :p . Do you have the Molten Orange color ? It's so unique just at the exact middle between red and orange, so unique but also hard to match with other colors. Best bet is black, preferably satin finish <3<3

I've done maybe 300km give or take and about 8 full send runs on mountain roads and the only issue I had was my right intercooler hoose coming off at high boost. Removed the bumper and added another clamp next to the factory one (did both sides) and no issue since then.

Hello, je répond toujours la même chose : j'ai pas envie de savoir et de tomber dans cette course au hp/bhp. Perso je prends juste le truc au feeling volant en main, et oui y'a clairement un boost avec le stage3 mais après niveaux chiffres, je me base sur les chiffres constructeur/tuner et en général j'enlève p/e 20/30 hp vu que ces chiffres sont maximisés par souci de marketing, logique. Donc si sur le papier je "ferais" 320" hp, je vais plutôt mettre "300 hp" dans mes titres de vidéo. Mais bon pourquoi pas passer sur un banc à l'occaz, j'avoue que c'est tentant ;)

Personally I prefer uphill runs but it's mostly due to the limitations with my braking system. But yeah you basically go faster downhill, whatever your HP. I guess it's a good "driving school" to be able to handle steep uphill and dowhill at higher speed. But yeah just straight roads are not for me, you just get way too fast way too quickly and you feel like you are okay, because, straight. I plan on keeping my license as long as possible :p

@@Fiestastix it is true. The cast calipers cant perform well enough. I have a similar power increase on my focus and big brakes has been one of the best, most necessary mods so far. The efficiency of the braking is the key point; you can brake in shorter distances with less effort at higher speeds. Thats important when the car is accelerating to higher speeds over and over on twisty roads.

@@lastexile1187 Yes it makes perfect sense. It's a steep upgrade for me though yet. In the meantime I'll adjust my braking. I still think I can do a lot more with better driver skill and knowledge of your limits. That said during uphill/more straight runs, the brake are FINE so I'll focus more on those I guess, while testing the limit. Thanks for the feedback

Thanks pal, happened to me once before (same road, check my channel). As far as I understand, it burns mainly the compounds of the brakes, like not the caliper/rotor itself. I'll inspect it (pistons, sliders, pads) prior to the next run but this time with some hard-earned knowledge :)

@@DustinDSM Yes, I've heard about EBC big brakes but I'd just like to experiment a bit further towrads the "driver mod" before changing the calipers (managing braking skillls and cooldown phases). Anyways, I made many mistakes during that video not allowing my brakes to cool down enough before a STEEP downhill run is mainly a driver's fault I guess

@@flenzya1830 compared to all the other companies doing big brake kits unless someone only runs pads and rotors on the stock calibers, wilwood would be the only thing close maybe 100/200 dollars cheaper

Hope so too, my mecanic seemed to have plenty of experience regarding x37/x57 and x48r turbos (things that needed to be tightened up further than spec, etc...). For now so issue except the right intercooler pipe coming off twice already but since I added another clamp next to the OEM one, it seems to be fine. The turbo in itself came with poor finishes that my mecanic had to fix. Pumaspeed is great but when in comes to turbos, they should ship them in PRIME condition though...

@@Fiestastix I've replaced all the clamps with t-bolt clamps, they are a bit more expensive than normal clamps but they are way more durable, just have to measure everything before ordering them because they have a smaller range of pipe sizes they fit on, so you need get the sizes just right, but you can really tighten them down a lot, got rid of any issues regarding pipes coming off or boost leaks for me, could definitely recommend them if the normal clamps ever start giving you trouble again. But as for pumaspeed their turbo's you are absolutely right, i put everything on my self and just expected a brand new turbo to be in perfect condition, would have never thought to do a complete checkover of the turbo, don't really feel like wasting money on a mechanic doing the installation for me when most jobs are just a evening of work, just to have him check over the components i'm putting on, rather just pay a bit extra for components i know won't just fail on me like my x48 did. Not sure which turbo to go for now though, s280 seems to be quite durable, but if i have to build engine i might as well go for something a bit bigger and more durable like a garrett

@@MrTurbo_ I get that trust me, for me though, Id like as few turbo lag as possible since I don't do tracks but just mountain roads. Straight lines, don't care. But anything with a good torque/power/chassis ratio is goos for me... At least for now, who nows. In any case, good luck with your work !

And I definitely get that, your country is beautiful and amazing for driving, if I lived there I'd definitely do the same, was planning to go to the Austrian alps this year, been there once before and was an absolute blast. I'm looking in to a billet 1.8L crankshaft though, should maybe help with turbo response and would probably allow me to raise the rev limit to 8300~, I think that would give a bigger turbo a lot wider usable rev range which I hope will be good for backroads and mountain roads, time will tell I guess

@@MrTurbo_ For sure my man, let it rip ! But just a reminder, as a local, anything in Switzerland is PRETTY harsh if you get caught speeding hard. Austria, I have no Idea though and that's one of my next idea for a "trip". There is a fine line between keeping your driver's license or not, that's the one of the sparks in this game :p

Yes, if you buy their crackle package you'll get the same one. I think the file of my crackle in this video is "cat_Crackles". I love it, just the right balance if you like crackles and occasionnal pops.

Well thanks I guess, I doubt a foot cam would be interesting since I'm not heel toe-ing yet. But even so, heel toe is for hard braking on racetracks, it's still public roads so I can't go to the limit when braking, I have to leave just enough leeway in case
