  • Such a beautiful segment, sorry about the sensor dust, my secondary gopro is very old (Hero 6 black). It was a gorgeous ride but really had to be quite careful; steep segments, bit of traffic, narrow passages and still running winter tyres while there is snow on the side of the road. Stay safe fellow car enthousiasts :)
    MODS : - Pumaspeed stage 2 tune
    - Milltek non res race exhaust
    - Milltek decat
    - GFB DV+ BOW
    - R-Sport intake
    - Short shifter
    - COBB motor mount
    - R-Sport stage 2 intercooler

By the way, just a quick type for any GoPro users, in harsh conditions, probably lower your EV settings to counter balance any camera set on auto exposure to counter balance overblown harsh sunlight. Also try to shoot in Log formats so you can recover way better the darker shadows in post production ;)

Hi stix, I recently bought a 2014 Fiesta ST as my first car, and it has already covered 120,000 km. Maybe could you give me some advice to help me, as I'm not sure where to start? I think I should take it to an auto repair shop for an inspection first, perhaps? Thank you for reading this comment! (From Germany)

Hello brother, my 2014 ST also was my very first car. Best choice ever, congrats. What is your goal, if I may ask ?

@@Fiestastix I want to keep it as original as possible at the beginning. I'm not sure what specific issues I should pay attention to now. I plan to start by replacing all the fluids.

@@matteojiang9595 Well, I'm no mecanic but I've learned my few share of stuff. Replacing the fluids is always a good idea if you think they may be ageing more than you think. You'll find ALL the YT videos about that for the ST mk7. Just one thing, for example for the engine fluid, you'll need to follow the exact specifications. I've gotten my hand on a more advanced manual than the one you'll get with the car. For example if you wanna change the engine oil, you'll need 5W-20 oil with WSS-M2C948-B specs. You can find all those on ford.co.uk and check for the PDF manuals ;)

So if your FIST has not done a proper expertise by a mecanic for a while, you should definitely get it inspected if you can afford it (mecanics will always scam you though). I got mine with 112 000km on the dash, now it's 144 440km so I guess both our FIST have a similar age haha. From the first day I had it till now, the only stuff that caused me issues (and that I resolved) where my aftermarket Blow off valve (air leak) and... That's it lol. Now I have something I need to fix with my front brake (probably brake caliper pistons getting stuck and/or caliper pins, lol I managed to get my front pads literally on fire after a hard downhill run a couple of days back, something definitely needs inspection). Other then that just a strange noise I've been hearing from one of my front wheels, so probably the wheel bearing that needs to be changed (not a big deal but I need to do it asap, can be dangerous).Anyways, globally, while you are keeping it stock, those cars are well known to be very very reliable. In any case, you have so many tutorials on YT for whatever regarding this car so if you wanna experiment about car mecanics, I would strongly advise to try and do it yourself before going to a mecanic (especially mods), it'll save you tousands of bucks/euros/swiss francs ;)

One last thing, there is a bunch of forums about fiesta ST users that you can easily find. Some guys there knows their stuff so you can always ask some stuff there. Good luck friend. www.fiestastoc.com/forums/fiesta-st-mk7-discussion.267/
