I totally agree my dude, it makes it more challenging (more turns basically). Will definitely do this (unless it's a chase and I'm getting nervous about the chaser haha)
Yes my friend, those car a sooo special. But you can't really fully comprehend how special the chassis is until you send it of mountain roads with plenty of twistiessssss. Thing I love also is how easy it is to mod them
Wow I appreciate that considering car sound is what I like the most just above the sheer driving experience. In a couple of weeks expect more turbo sound, just trust me
Thanks bud ! Funny story when I bought the car I thought the color was weird, like a washed out old red. But overtime I realised that it's actually a genius color like it's at the absolute midpoint between red and orange. And I see no other car in this color, ever. Plus the factory name sounds cool "Molten Orange" haha.
You have to work on smoothing your steering inputs, don't need to be that fast and "sharp" at all. Also, you should have your hands fixed on the right position on the wheel, not changing all the time. Its a car, not a boat, you don't need to gain leverage to steer it. Fun road 👍
Appreciate the input ! Feels like it's that I "need" to be that "sharp" with my steering. I think it's a habit I've go from playing simulators for years. Interesting, I'll try to be a tad smoother to see what's up. Gotta say though, having a sharp steering style, get's me going for some reason, feels more intense. AND YES that road is fuuuuuun
@@speedandsounds I would just say maybe try to enter the corners wider and drive wide into corner, if you drive fiesta like this your puttin all stress on front tires as you said yourself, but if you go more round then youll have more fun and have fiesta slip rear tires a bit to move into corners which makes you able to go faster (if dont know where is the slip limit turn trackion off in parking lot and do few hard turns to make rear slip and try to correct it with steering wheel and bit of gas), if not sure if you can stand it start with trackion on (yes fiesta will let you slip a bit even with TC on), or just half off...thats how Iam now doing it and learning it :)
I hear what you're saying, but what should be known is the Fiesta's twitchy front end.. I'm MUCH smoother, input wise, in my ND Miata, than in my FiST, on the same roads with the same driver and similar tires (400+tw A/S tires).. I get A/S tires so I can have more low speed fun (yaw n slip angles)
Close to getting a fiST. It’s only the looks that have me hesitating and considering the FoST instead. I just prefer the wider look of the focus. The fiesta looks too narrow and tall for my liking. I can see it’s probably the more engaging and fun drive though.

Yeah, I got my flutter with the dual port turbosmart BOV, but it ended up causing a code from leaking. Looked like it's the piston that seems slightly dented. I'll see if I can get it replaced and reinstall it later on when I go stage 3 in february.

Thanx bud, it's Stage2R with crackles/flames, in the video. Have to go decat for this tune though ! But worth it just for the decat sound along with a sports exhaust. @@White_Fiesta_ST Same here where I live, trust me it's pretty strict. Basically stay away from making a mess in cities and when you get that mandatory tech control, put it all back in stock, obviously. The standard OEM diverter valve is the best and fastest reacting on these, even when touching 30 psi of boost. Don't fall for the marketing and put the money into something else.
@@speedandsounds The BOV is used to release the excessive pressure to protect the turbo. Basically, the whole system does not become more powerful, it becomes more durable. In some vehicles, you can also tell from the steering wheel that the engine does not tear so much at the engine mount. The car is somewhat smoother to drive, but you only notice this if you have an adjustable one and regularly drive the different modes. The size of the turbo also determines whether you notice the work of a BOV very much. To include the topic of performance: The difference is in the response behavior of the turbo. If the BOV is not working properly, the excess pressure slows down the compressor wheel. The turbo then has to work against it. The BOV therefore ensures that the engine reaches its peak power slightly faster. However, this would only make a difference in a 24-hour race at the very most. If you have tens of thousands of boost processes of this kind. Then, in a perfect world, the car would probably be 3 seconds faster. But human error and environmental influences such as headwinds are weighted more heavily. 😊
