You don't realize how precious something is until you lose it. I complain about having to work, paying bills and my favorite sports team losing. I did an eleven hour stint in county jail and it was terrible. I can't imagine doing any amount of time.

hi Eric. the summer he did the sniping, he lived 3 doors down from me in these little tiny-home studios. i would see him taking walks, always in cut off at the knee army pants. i knew from the first time he went by he was really WEiRD like scary weird. One day i was out on my tiny porch waiting for landlady to pay her my rent and on his way home from walk he suddenly detoured from sidewalk and walked right up to me sitting on my porch (door was wide open) and asked if he could "use my bathroom". i said SURE and kept sitting there acting like i didnt know he lived 3 doors down. i waited and waited and finally landlady got there (with her teenage football player son). i broke it to her what was going on and i was scared to say NO to him. SO her son went first and we ALL went in.. the bathroom WINDOW was open and screen pushed out :O. I made a PRIVATE police report ON him with LANDLADY present.. we went to HARDEES to meet them. It was about two or three weeks later when he pulled the SNIPING off :( ! Of course, i will NEVER forget!

I find it interesting how much push bag from Asatru specifically and in general Germanic Paganism. I am not asatru but I am a modern Germanic/Norse Pagan. I am German and Irish decent so i know with the prison version of Asatru i wouldn't be the one they quickly accept either. I do have issues with more the AFA and in general the "ethnic gatekeeping" of some Asatru groups. However all religions have their bad apples. Hey Eric you are a good person . Dont let anyone tell you different. By the way I looked up the violent offender registration bill for Missouri. Last action was Feb 21 2024 and as of May 17 2024 it was dead. So I guess it didnt pass

Also, i work for myself out here. I charge 25 an hour for basic jobs and up to 50 an hour for specialized jobs i.e. airplane work, electrical, or anything over 20ft high. I am swamped with word of mouth referring and i dont say no often to work lol. Its poppin out here. Currently working on a refer trailer 53ft conversion, if ya end up this way itll be better than your car lol. If ya help on the property rent can be reduced. I moved out here to make the money, save up and buy a chunk of land. Got our schoolie about 10% done so at least we are making progress. Once we get the wifes business going we should speed up a little towards our goal.

Ya know something. I visited Austin Texas last year and loved it. It's a huge music town and as far as politics go.... They call it a blue city in a red state and it's the strangest thing because the people you think are conservative are actually more liberal and vice versa. Pretty cool really. Florida is always great. I have watched this channel for a while now. You seem happier now than I have ever seen you. I have watched that happiness grow and I'm all for keeping it up. This whole thing resonates with me for one reason, Eric. I was a drug addict and alcoholic in Minnesota until 1986, which is when I cleaned up. One of the counselors that I clicked with said it's a good idea to leave the place you used in, because it's chock full of the drinking and drugging triggers, which is something I know you probably understand well. I moved to NYC in 1986, and although it's had its own share of big challenges, I no longer drank and could focus on getting healthier via therapy.

Yeah I can understand why you would want to move away from the memories. I live in western NYS. There seems to be some opportunity in the skilled trades up here. Of course there are the winters. Best of luck to you in sorting out the move.
