What if I want to spawn pcg onto intersecting meshes? I tried it with a level instance and the pcg ends up growing from odd intersecting places.

Thanks for your tutorial. I would also like to ask, is there any way to allow the player to automatically move to the target location or automatically follow others after pressing a button?

Haven’t implemented it yet but I believe you can use branches with Boolean comparisons for follow distance to set the movement state for the Ai player.
Hello I'm an Artist, how can I learn how to add a new attack system to Lyra? Like a sword swing attack, block and death? Can I duplicate some attack C++ from Lyra and swap in new sword attack animations.
In Lyra I would copy an existing ability and just replace the animations and of course other variables will need to be put in place to define the new ability. I will look at the sword ability I added and see if I can lead you in the right direction. Hit me on discord for this answer.

can this replace audio to face from omniverse, I use A2F and its Rest API to create metahuman NPC AI, can this UE Audio Driven feature replace that?
Yes, this can replace A2F and is a lot more accurate. I am sure improvements will come soon adding more facial expression to the audio driven animations .

Slight emotions are there but you can tweak them is sequencer as I stated. Also will show some wrinkles but with a bang over her forehead it is harder to see.

@@kmanboard According to unreal documentation this is called "Audio Driven Animation for Metahumans" Not lip sync. I showed this in the beginning of the video. I didn't name it just showing the feature...lol

In the (team check) section, can we add variables called "are you aiming at them?"and "is shot at?" to make the NPC attack or not based on whether these conditions are met(I mention two conditions because there could be NPCs that only attack if you shoot them, and others that attack immediately when aimed at.)
I am sure you can but you would need traces and apply variables to the AI to detect when to apply your bools.
Please do a tutorial on your climbing system! The climb points system is one of the best I've seen on youtube and I've been trying to build my own in 5.4 for the last few weeks. Have a working system but its far buggier than yours currently. P.s. live retargeting seems too expensive. Retargeting annoying but if that process was cleaned, less compute expensive per character at scale.

I can when i get a chance but you can add these features to AGLS on your own. I have a project that I started to merge and is mostly done so maybe I can finish it and do a tutorial.

Jakub's work is insane, unfortunately not replicated though so for my purposes it would be better to just work up to that custom. I'm confident in being able to replicate my poor code, but anyone elses? Not a chance.

Why are you dragging all your meshes into a blueprint? Creating packed level actors already creates a blueprint.
Those Blueprints already existed in the assets I downloaded. Thus is why I stated in the title Converting Modular Actors to Instanced. Also this is an old video things have definitely changed a bit since then.

Yes you can add a custom character to the NPC.

Yes you can get the current project for $12 dollar one time payment and return to pay again when there are updates if you wish.

@@luckyenam4819 It is a Patreon membership and the project is part of a tier. The creator has put much work into this project and equivalent projects cost upward of $150 - $300 dollars so it is worth it and you only need update if new features are options you want in your project.

I wonder about Quixel Bridge that's built into unreal / part of the epic asset library, I wonder will that side still be free for people with an Epic games account or are what you saying it's all just going to FAB and all some kind of paid/subscription/points method of transaction?
Yeah , not sure what's going to happen with free for the month or anything. Epic is ,more often than not, way to vague in its communication about many things.

Weapons don't align with hands when aiming. Was hoping you would touch on that but everyone seems to leave that part out.
Are you talking about the pistols what weapons are you referring to?
@@blaqueaddonnisgames Just the weapons in general when adding a metahuman. When metahuman is holding a weapon there is an offset from gun to hand. The gun doesn't match in place with the hand.
@@Take10Games If your metahuman is not a tall male then there are issues. I am working through those issues now, as my character is a tall female. I will post when I figure it all out. Got some done but pistol and some other attachments not done yet.
Very cool, great pace and clarity. I wonder if you have done anything more with retargeting? I saw you used a UE5 skm so not necessary but there is a retargeting blueprint in there. How would we adjust this for a shorter character?
Thank you. I have only managed to get the grenade and torch to match my shorter Metahuman character. I will be posting this shortly. I am still trying to figure out the hook.

This should work in most projects but may need to be tweaked per use .

That one looks pretty good especially after the smoothing plugin. Also, it is fully replicated. I will have to do a second video as new versions continue to surface.
Any idea how to make the AI not shoot right away, and chase with proper traversal? And then only shoot after a certain amount of time chasing?
Have not dug into that yet still fixing up some other bugs. When I get to it I will post.

Great video. Can you do a tutorial on how to replace the enemy AI mesh as well? Following the same steps leads to stretching/jank. I've noticed there's no visual skeletal mesh in the AI BP to set as the leader bone like the player character.
Thanks....There is a "BodyMesh" set up in the AI Blueprint to follow the main mesh But the blueprint is UE4 and has not been updated to UE5. I will see about adding a retarget setup to the Anim Bp. If this works I will post a tutorial.
