I use PerfectGBA overlay on Miyoo Mini Plus and no matter how close I look I can't see uneven pixels behind the grid, so I believe that's good enough for me and for 90% of retrogamers. Also doctors say looking for uneven pixels is bad for your mental health you know 😅

I think its just astonishing. As a child having a PS1 or N64 which where huge Consoles in comparison to for example my Miyoo A30 and these little thing can run these Games like its nothing on a Chipset which is found in WiFi Routers. That alone is Mindblowing in my opinion :D

I disagree. You should give in to FOMO and get a Retroid Pocket 5. Sell your Pocket 4. Gell, just throw it away, it's worthless. Get rid of it. Give it to me instead. For free.

I didn't get the RP4Pro but was seriously considering it. I decided to get the RP5 instead. I don't think someone that already has the RP4pro should get the RP5, if they wanna upgrade they should just get an odin 2.

Its definitely a great console but I am spoilt. by the 556 I want that RP5 massive OLED screen to watch movies on and game :D

The OLED battery savings will probably outweigh the difference in die size and screen size. That being said, the RP4P is not worth upgrading if you already have one.

I must admit that I've exchanged my faithful RG35XX H for TrimUI Smart Pro, as my main handheld, basically because of a bigger screen in the latter. But I will never get rid of my RG35XX H since it's such a great piece of device. I use it as a stationary console connected to my TV for good. It works so well! P.S. Sorry it took me so long to watch this video. I've had a lot on my mind lately.

Yeah, pre-rooted devices are pretty shady... That took a little of my interest in this handheld 😕 And putting pirated paid emulators in it is a horrible move from Anbernic. These two things makes it hard for me to give them my money.

I wasn’t really into the emulator scene for a long time, but I eventually realized how inconvenient it was to carry around a Game Boy and all the cartridges. This is actually my first handheld emulator, and I wanted something primarily for playing GB, GBC, GBA, and PlayStation games, and it’s been perfect for that. Now I have every retro game I own in one device! And yeah, being a stickler for legality, I’ve only installed games that I own legitimate copies of.

Yeah I got a refurbished gba. I do play it a lot. Maybe I shouldn't but I really enjoy it.

3:2 is very good for the most Systems. 4:3 = small bezels & 16:9 = small bezels. In my Dreamworld, the most Retrohandhald would have 3:2 ratio. Its fits the most. Still stretching a 3:2... Ok everybody have weaknesses 😂

Just got the RP4 Pro after doing some research. Runs great! Buttons are great! Worth selling the old PSP I don’t use anymore. A great PSP substitute, but slightly large in size but it is comparable to a big smartphone. I always got interested in RP5 while thinking about the RP4 Pro but I found out that D1100 is slightly better than the SD865. It is worth getting the 4 Pro and worth the 9 month wait after the… launch unit failures.

I've got one of these and love it so far. For GBA, you could also mention the Ayaneo Pocket Micro, which is a 3:2 screen with exactly 4x integer scaling and looks to be an extremely premium option. But it's also something like 8x the price of this.

How do you manage multi-disc PS1 games in Beacon Launcher? I have a .m3u file in my main PS1 roms folder and a sub-folder containing the multi-disc .chd files, but i get an error when trying to launch multi-disc PS1 games.

Actually the rgb30 has a perfect 3x integer scaling for the gba. Yes, it has huge black bars above and below, but it is integer scaling. Nice video as always, love your channel.

Ooh Vlad! I was was nodding when you said that the Classic Gameboy was our first Handheld. But then I remembered the one blue handheld with white buttons that only could play Tetris. Idk if this was a balkan thing bc many couldn't afford the Gameboy when it came out. So we got this one. Gameboy was a dream. But this bluey tetris boy was actually my first handheld.
