We've just had Australian and American relatives visiting us. They could believe that we drink in pubs built in the 1500s and one in 1141. The fact that our city walls were built in the 6th century confused them because it was centuries before their little countries were founded. It was cute when visiting them in Australia when they showed us a bridge built in the 1800s which was the oldest bridge in Australia. He wasn't happy when we said our next door neighbours house was older than that 🤣🤣 We are pretty lucky!
