Was the room with double beds for the family of 4 on the scooter 😂 Rich get a straw with n folding top and put it into your phone holder and zip it up , angle to the front of the bike the cooler air will travel down the straw and cool your phone 👌
I wouldn't feel safe walking at night in any British City with my wife, I would in Bangkok!! Although it's busy no one seems stresed, enjoy and thanks for sharing.
This is sad but true. We were saying the same, we wouldnt go to our city centre of an evening and walk around, it wouldnt be long before trouble finds you
It's not that bad. I've been going to Central London by bike and tube for 50 years and never had one problem. And I've only had one bike stolen in that time back in 1983.😂
Jealous of that weather, here in Wales we have had freezing weather then a storm rolled in all weekend followed by a few power cuts that lasted 10 hours, so don't rush home lol.
I used to live in South Wales for 10 years( I’m English ) & I couldn’t believe how much rain we used to get! I’ve emigrated to Thailand & what a fantastic country it is! Take care
@@chrispack3131 I don't blame you living there, we certainly do not plan stay here to be old and cold that's for sure. Thailand is def at top of the list for us. I spent a Month there back in 2000. Best place I have visited by far. All the best to you, you lucky so and so XD.
How do you find the food here? do you miss things like Good Bread or cheese? We are finding even the snacks in thailand all seem to be healthier versions of what we might have in the uk? Clearly its a healthier lifestyle here, seeing obese people is rare here we noticed
Being in the UK constant rain and grey is depressing after some time, it just doesnt do people any good. Im sure i am solar powered! We feel so much happier in the sun and able to ride every day
Still loving your journey, now you’ve reached Bangkok, with its mad traffic chaos, interesting grub, fantastic shopping malls, wow it’s very exciting, I really envy you lovely 🥰 couple, you take everything in your stride with a laid back attitude, risk taking, it’s so entertaining, take care you two, looking forward to tomorrow 😊
Those ponchos are now on my Xmas shopping list. Xmas Dinner wear. Ah, the clear spandex. In other news you both look good on those bikes and have proved to yourself that light bike and packing is the way to go. A most excellent watch. Ride safe 👍
We are definitely appreciating the smaller lighter bikes and having less stuff, in Europe though it’s too expensive for us to use hotels so we have to carry all the camping kit which is where our bulk is
the shopping centers are massive in Thailand, and there are so many - can easily spend the day there lol haha. Looking forward to your next video adventures
Rich you need to get quadlock system the cases are solid and it stops the phone over heating even in the hottest of weather. You can even get a poncho for the wet weather. Ive got the wireless charging heads on both of my bikes and highly recommend them. They have a discount for black friday as well.
Excellent video. I think you should change the title of all the episodes to Rich and Ewes eating adventures. All you ever do is eat😂😂 I love it. I looked the Super Meteor at the NEC Motorbike Live. I loved it. Was so comfortable too. This might be my 2nd bike. 🤔 keep up the great videos. Loving em 😊

Wow that traffic looks nuts ,, good to see how you are able to keep relatively calm with no panick attacks . I'm a bit curious as there is no licence plate on your bike ,I'm sure there is a good reason . Look forward to the next one.
The shops will be thriving because the councils don’t tax them to death like they do over here. I admire you two, I backpacked through Thailand I would have been scared to death trying to ride through Bangkok.
Another awesome day on the road! And I totally agree with you Rich, Ewa does look great in that RE or that kind of bike style, better than in her Honda, in my opinion off course. 👍👍
⚠️⚠️⚠️ Please DO NOT put super glue on your helmet. The strong chemicals in the glue could have a serious negative effect and compromise the strength of your helmet. Also many thanks again for the info ref using Gopro & mics. Ride safe guys.
Bet that rain was refreshing!!! Another great episode guys 👍🏼 And I do agree with you Rich, the Royal Enfield is an excellent bike!! You both look really comfortable riding them 👍🏼
I do remember trying to cross that junction, nothing has changed. Our 'posh' hotel was on the opposite corner. You two have got to take a Tut Tut ride and see the laying down golden Buddha. Thanks for the entertainment guys. 🙏 be safe
Yes we ate at a place today at the side of the road and were talking about how everyone seems to be ok to have a stall or a stand, Local food markets at the Side of the road etc, its great to see. Can you give us an idea of what a normal average person working in the field might get paid each day in thailand? When we eat out at some local resturants we cant understand how they are making any money
Rich, you need to get your phone out of that case, I use quadlock and never had any issues with overheating. Re 7elevens, when I moved out to Thailand in 2005 I live 18 klms north of Mae Sot on highway 105 and there were no 7eleven's now there's 5 of them. Three of them within 500 mtrs.
The yellow lines on the parking surface at the 7-11 are there for a reason. Yes, it's a jackpot when you see 5 on a motorbike in Thailand...rare but it happens. Stay safe...ride like you're invisible.
Very nice. Question: How many liters is the bag strapped to the red and white bike? Thinking about installing the backrest on my super meteor for better luggage capacity. Greetings from Norway.
Hi both, keep up the hardwork and amazing content. A question relating to editing video's, what laptop do you use on the road ? I am currently having issues with my laptop with lag when editing videos, so in the market to buy another one but would like a recommendation from someone using it for a similar purpose (and producing awesome videos!) Loving this trip, Love Ya Bye!
No problem, best thing to do is go to the apple store and have a really good talk with them and discuss what you intend to do with it, they know their stuff and were helpful to us
Our coach. Us, is the same. I have a hard time in the shower stall, as it’s only 40”x40” and 6’5” tall. I’m 6’4” tall @290, gotta turn sideways to get into the shower
Like you say guys, safer on the bikes than on your pegs! Back to decent food, eh Rich 😉. Glad you made it to your hotel safe and sound. Can't see us, home here, going for four-on-a-bike; well, not legally anyway! I wonder what the accident figures per 1000 motorcyclists is?
In the UK there are a number of dealers who do Royal Enfield alongside the established Japanese brands; MotoGB do Enfield, a number of Chinese brands, plus Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha although not all at the same places. Not Honda though; their dealers seem to be exclusive as far as new bikes are concerned. How are those bikes doing for petrol? I've heard that RE 650s aren't all that economical.
All Royal Enfields are made in India and have been for many many years, not China. All Triumphs are made in Thailand. Most BMWs are made in China and that is why the VOGE bikes you rode recently are fitted with BMW engines which have been made for BMW by VOGE for many years. I rode a Royal Enfield Classic 350 for a year until June this year and am now on a Honda Rebel 500. But I think my next bike will be Chinese, probably a Zontes. I think the new Zontes Z703 Adventure looks incredible. I live in Thailand and I am waiting for the Thai Zontes dealerships to confirm prices. You seemed surprised that Thais don't steal bikes when they are left for a few minutes. You have obviously been living in the UK for too long. Surely you noticed that helmets and jackets are always left on bikes and never locked away here. Thais don't thieve helmets or bikes.
@@ontheroadadventure Yes I watch a lot of UK UA-cam bikers like Freddie Dobbs who spends half his time talking about how to stop thieves from stealing his bike.
